"How to be a graphic designer without losing your soul" is a great book!! Thank you for the recommendation!
Love how you are recommending books and gave us pieces of advice as well 🥰
I'm putting these on my list, thank you for sharing!
Thinking with type is my favorite design book. Taught me so much about the world of letterforms, fonts, and text
This video is really helpful and hearing you talk about how those books helped you, it inspires me to develop my skills more! I subscribed because of this and I'm happy to add good books to my list.
I'm currently a sophomore in college, taking a multimedia arts program, it's very broad but I've been stuck in the jack-of-all-trades thing which bummed me out a bit. But then it's 2 AM when I realized that "Dang, I know what I want my specialty to be." and I realized how much I always enjoyed graphic design. Whether it's for school, personal projects, or freelance gigs, it's the only constant thing that makes me enjoy or want to invest a project no matter what. Thank you for thisss!
Thank you for this.
Love this, thank you!
This is really helpful !
Cheers for these man, bookmarked!
Great recommendations, I definitely added a couple to my list. Funny how you managed to sneak in the four agreements 😎
Epic Jesse! Cheers from Argentina!
Anything you want is one of my favourites! I'm not a big reader so it being so short helped 😂😅 but still full of so many good insights.
Exactly haha, it’s a super short and easy read!
SUCH good recomendations! Got a fair amount of these on our shelves. And love to see "Freelance, and Business, and Stuff" in there.
Thanks so much and most def, it’s a good one!
Love your videos! Got inspired from the Blue Note book♥
The blue note book is so good!!
great books love it.
100 ideas that changed design forever is great too
this lines up exactly with my course (we're looking into books right now) these are definitely more up-to-date. Good choices mate :)
Thanks for the list. Saves a lot of time. Love your channel.
Jesse! Such amazing recomendations! I have some books (Interaction of color, 50 Ideas for graphic design...) and hearing you talking about them is very inspiring to look at them in a different way. Thanks so much for the video.
this video is AWESOME Jesse!!
Thank you
Is there any resources in india to get these books second hand?
Does anyone knows?
What's your opinion on AI and it's use in graphic design?
God bless you for these recommendations!!!... i dont know when i became a book nerd 😅 but i love design so much ...its like i want to know everything 😂... i guess this recommendations will help alot
Discord link is not working for me
Damn, this was an expensive video to watch
Graphic design books originally as a physical book, were sometimes only scanned in or OCR with no honor, losing the visual attraction of books. Sometimes the book’s layout, composition, and pagination were key to the book’s as a direct integration of design itself or some specific principles. Really scary 😱 oversight for design books.
A shame too that so many of the books shown here are no longer available at libraries or bookstores (what are bookstores?).
18:55 got that 4 agreements. Steal like an artist.
I
Cool, just bought 9 books out of this 🙃🫠
