My husband is Yoruba and I'm Xhosa from South Africa, I fell sick in 2019 and and apparently I was communicating with him in my language, I had no idea,😂😂😂, that led him to learn my language and surprises me everyday with a new word, he's quite good. So we're learning each other's languages now. I love what you guys are doing. But I must say😂Ling's seriousness trying to pronounce the words is the best thing to see ooo💖💖💖💖

Surprised to learn he’s mixed with Yoruba.
I'm Igbo and I could tell most of what he meant. Probably because I've lived the greater part of my life in Lagos and had chosen yoruba as a preference in junior high school 1 ( I was good in Igbo and wanted to try something else) .
I felt alone during classes as the teacher didn't do much to carry everyone along. I ended up learning mainly only about Oduduwa and Lamurudun(Yoruba history) throughout that session 😂.
I didn't need anyone to tell me to run back to Igbo classes as my marks were dropping.
Wish I learnt more. Had to learn the rest on the streets.
As long as Lamb speaks it more often, you'd definitely become fluent soon, Ling.👏💪
