the car's idle sound is better but isn't while driving, the music is better in a cheesy ironic way that i love, the tractor's sound is pretty awful

not gonna lie but the shaking when sitting in the car and the old lighting seems to be a lot better then the modern version

Always laugh of the radio, nice progress, but wonder whats the degree or simulation for tires, engine, suspension, or maybe thats not the most important in this game.
Pretty good I'd say, it is rewarding to actually drive the car, not just build it. Of course best with full set steering wheel controller, with clutch and H-shifter. Engine especially will be simulated very carefully because you are going to build it yourself.

Thats a lot of complexity for one coder, by building engine yourself you mean different parts or different tune for each part? Like camshaft.
***** There is bump, rebound, spring rates but not sophisticated geometry. Tires do not have flex or contact patch variations, but they have pressure and slip angle simulated. There is complexity for sure, but nothing impossible. I've already done the most demanding work with this game, now it is more of adding features and stuff. Yes you build the engine from ground up, and it does include stuff like valve/timing and carburator adjustments among other things. Also failing to do things like it is meant to, results in minor to major engine damage, or loss of performance.

***** Damage-wear type of system, to fix it you need to remove the broken part and replace it with new one. Yes this is single player.

Tom Valenzuela I try to make it as realistic as I can. It should feature mechanical wear, major engine damage if it's built wrong, visual exterior damage, and parts falling off.

tuli muutes mielee, aiotko yrittää saada mahollisimman realistiset äänet? meinaan et esim jos vaikka putki on erilaine ni on erilaiset äänet, tai kansipahvi palaa ni tulee pientä pössyä ja äänet muuttuu kans? ja mitä rikkaammalla käy niin enempi paukkuu? :D jne?
kyllähän tuohonki o tarkotus pyrkiä että se olis mahdollisimman autenttista. on mulla jo savut kannentiivisteestä ja muuta mitä tässä oon ehtiny tehdä :) moottori pitää kans melkosta meteliä jos pakoputki ei o kiinni.

Järvellä voi sit vaikka soutaa :D Siinä on nyt myös pitkä hiekkatien suora, mahdollisesti teen siit myöhemmin asvalttitien. Siinä voi kokeilla vauhteja :D Vaikka eipä toi vakiona mee ku 150kmh alamäkeen :D
