The way Georgie looks so sad at the end😭
George has done alot to make them happy. He even denied a job that couldve helped them very financially but didnt bc it would hurt the family mentally
I really appreciate it when the dad said "don't take it out on him" because many moms do and the children aren't supposed to say anything at least the dad could speak but many don't
That "Don't take it out on him." Was beautiful
That old saying always rings true. A man will sacrifice their happiness for their family.
“Because you never bothered to ask” speaks a lot about the relationship and her personality.
You can see so much of Laurie in Zoe’s performance. She plays the younger version of her mother perfectly. I have always loved that they chose to cast Zoe regardless of her being Laurie Metcalf’s daughter. She truly embodied the role.
"You never bothered to ask." That hit hard.
feels like a modern marriage. All about the woman.
George was a veteran many people forgot he fought for the country
In the Vietnam war, that's wasn't a war for your country LOL
@@dariod7922pretty sure he was jus sayin he served HIS military from HIS country
@@dariod7922hahaha so funny
@@Walnutsnifferit was funny tbh

This feeling sucks. To see the two people you cherish and respect the most fighting. It’s a terrible feeling of helplessness, you just wish you could do something to help.
when he said" Because you never bothered to ask" made my face went all the way to excitement to sadness. You guys should spend time with your dad because you never know when their time is done. :(
Pretty sure even if Mary asked, she wouldn't go with what George wanted. Sheldon took this trait from his mother.
This is so true
Every time George and her actually talked with each other about serious things she eventually turned it into a fight blaming him for everything and asserting her own will against everything he is saying which caused him to be pissed off and just stop talking to her.
@@PetraPecekok but like Sheldon matured eventually because of Leonard in the Big Bang Theory Mary didn’t however and that is why I hate her
@@jaxspaeth1748Sheldon even if obnoxious still sees logic , Mary works on belief, if she doesn't believe then it isn't like that
Georgie being stuck between his parents arguing not sure if he should be leaving or staying
😭😭😭 i've only seen short clips of this series but i got so sad for him, he died underappreciated
This hits hard after the latest episode
Mary might be my most hated character on the show. Aside from being a crazy Baptist she really only wants what she thinks is right and damns everyone else’s decision. A good example is recently when getting the baby baptized. Another thing, the fact that George had to say that really shows how of little importance he really was to her.
Has nothing to do with her preference of Christianity. The point is this is what all men deal with. Women in that time grew up with happy wife happy life and if momma isn't happy. Nobody is happy. It's not at all shocking she turned out this way and if you look at the modern woman today it's no better. Just a bunch of me me me me people
Yeah, also banning her daughter from dancing and even attending events that might have people dancing. Jesus attended events that would have dancing she just wanted that control over her daughter…
Imagine Georgie says the same line about someone dieing in the next episode and thats how he figures out about his dads death
Does george die in the episode after this?
George is an amazing father. Sure he’s not the greatest husband but a great father.
That's reality for u. Men always have to suck it up n continue to cause we need to be strong 😢. Sometimes I just want to cry n get hugged saying it's gonna be okay 😢
😂
I feel so bad for Georgie, he wanted to come home and walked in at the wrong time, you could hear the pain in his voice when he said “I can just leave”
I swear it was a mercy on George when he died. 😂
Why do husbands die before their wives????? Because they want to
@@AverageLeagueHack yeah because working your whole life for your... "significant other" so they can enjoy life while you start rotting on the inside causes exactly that.
George was actually happy he just didn't notice it. Happiness is so fragile, so... Subtle. You often don't even see it when you have it but you know when it goes away.
Honestly georgie turns out to be a really stand-up guy later in the series, i love his character growth
Atleast the boy cared to ask his dad "what's up" even if the mum didn't ask .
He’s is definitely the better parent! I don’t even blame him for cheating anymore.
They retconned that that it was just mary dressing as a character wich was an amazing way to solve it cos george sr. Was the best thing that family needed
@@Vintagehitman2018 thats awesome
@@bowler7922yea so instead of Sheldon thinking his dad cheated on his mom, Sheldon actually caught his parents having foreplay.
Not sure if it was a retcon because Sheldon never bother to ask or confront them about it, but they made a clever retcon if it was one.

he didnt actually cheat it was mary wearing a costume
George deserves so much better “because u never bothered to ask” it hits hard😔
this scene is a perfect example of what we men go through our entire life, no one ever asks us how we feel or how we are doing.
let me tell you guys "no one cares" our parents and maybe siblings if your close but other than that no one really cares.
Women : I didn’t know you were so unhappy
George : cause you never bothered to ask
Thats dumb for you to say women.
Her name's Mary Cooper👍
Marys genuinely such a bad person
no she i'snt
@@konijntjezeven she is. Shes entitled, narcissistic, she runs her household like a dictatorship where what she says goes with complete disregard to George's opinions, and she throws a tantrum when something doesn't go her way
You don't know what a bad person is
@@konijntjezevenyes the absolute fuck she is
@@daniels.b5022she lied to her husband multiple times, NEVER took what he said into consideration, outside of Sheldon she was a shithole mom, a shithole friend, she was a terrible Christian, she was a terrible daughter and honestly the entire family would have been better off without her.
He doesn’t realize how much Mary actually does.
They made George way too real. He struggles but does what he must to keep his family afloat and I feel young Sheldon shows Mary most of the time put him last, the church, her mother and peoples view of her always took first place
I respect George
A man’s life is sacrifice, rarely with recognition
The fact he didnt deny it but just reminded her she never asked was powerful.
Because you never bothered to ask 😭
Bruh this is just one of the hardest hitting episodes
What episode is it
"Because you never bothered to ask" that hits the Heart hard 😢
What hurts more is how many dads go through this but nobody acknowledges it
If George dies before the end of the series, I am going to cry like a little baby.
I mean he's not around in Big Bang Theory soo maybe
@@theguy10n1 He died when sheldon was 14

He does in season 7
Sheldon acts just like his mother.
