      thank you! I'm glad you like this video ☺️
      This hotel where you can see fireworks every day and heal your body in various large public baths and saunas was the best 👍

    Nice hotel. Greetings from Canada. In Canada never heard of whitebait fish.

      Thank you for watching from Canada!
      After all, Whitebait seems to be unfamiliar overseas😯
      Certainly there are a lot of small fish, so it seems that there are many people who are not good at looking.

    Raw egg and white bait would take some getting used to

      Oh, there is still an image that I am not good at!
      Natto is also often said.
      I wonder if I will get used to it if I come to Japan and eat it long time..😂

      Thank you!
      I'm glad that you liked Japanese hot springs☺️
      The hot springs and large public baths can be worrisome because many people enter them together, but Japanese people love it because they can stretch their legs and take it slowly♨️
      If you go to famous hot spring areas such as Hakone, Kusatsu, and Atami, which are a little farther from Tokyo, there are open-air baths with beautiful scenery, so I recommend going there as well.

    The windows in the front of the curve of the building seem to be placed functionality wise not aesthetically. There seem to have no rhyme or reason for the design of the windows other than function

    • @periple_japan
      @periple_japan  Před rokem

      Certainly, it seems that the windows at the bottom are sparse and have no role as a design 🤔
      The building looks more beautiful if they are lined up regularly or if they are asymmetrical.

    why do you have a chair and a vessel to fill water in the japanese bathroom ? never saw this in germany

    • @periple_japan
      @periple_japan  Před rokem

      I think it is a kind of tradition, a remnant of the fact that Japan has always had large bathhouses called sento, where there were chairs and bath tubs.
