For anybody having the trouble I had with FileZilla not connecting to the ps3, be sure you have multi man open before trying to connect to the ps3 it will not connect to the ps3 on the factory XMB

I am a PC gamer from windows 2000 days on.. and Man I love my JB PS3.. its a computer and not only plays all sorts of exclusive games I missed playing over the years .. but lets me "do computer things" like all the conversions , installs, FTP, creating isos, patches.. its a fun little box to get going and learn .
I recently installed CFW rebug lite 4.87 along with MultiMan on my PS3. I haven't figured out how to do everything yet, but I have learned a lot from your videos, thank you so much for taking the time to make them all. I have found it easier to just convert the game files into ISO's, then copy them into the proper folder on my USB HDD from my PC, then plug the USB HDD into the PS3. So far I haven't found any reason to copy them to the PS3 internal drive as they seem to play fine off the USB drive. I have kept the original game files on my PC in case I had to path them for any reason. I hate to think about using FTP to cpy them from my PC to PS3 because of the slow speed of my local network. I am using 10/100 hardware and hubs so FTP would be pretty slow. The last time I used FTP was when I used to download dreamcast games from the usenet newsgroups. It's been that long.
Just a tip for people that are having trouble installing DLC. So i downloaded all the COD: Ghosts "BLES" DLC since i already had the BLES disc and moved all DLC files into "packages" location in PS3 then installed all of them in a random order. Then started my game and found that i still had no DLC. So i then decided to try something out of the blue and reinstalled one of the pkg files (just one) that had "DLCFIX" in the title and that funnily enough, fixed the issue lol. Now i have every Extinction map for free!

I just ordered my jailbroken console with ncaa 14 revamped and 7 other additional games for $250 on Mercari. One of the answers I had that was answered in this video was if you could still update games. And you could update the games as long as your not on psn but just the offline internet. So cool 😎

For everyone asking where to download games, for obvious reasons he will not disclose that information so stop asking. Honestly a quick Google search will bring up multiple sites. If you cant do something that simple you shouldn't be modifying your system as you can easily break it.
Thank you SO MUCH This is almost the same process as in X360, with XexMenu, Freestyle. The difference is me being able to transfer the files DIRECTLY from the PC through wireless connection. That's so cool

Typically it is either Google docs, Mega, 1file (which really is 1fichier), or occasionally it will just download straight from the site, without any redirects. But if a new tab or window pops up, which will happen a number of times sometimes if you touch anywhere on the page, just keep closing them and hitting the prompts to download the file
Hey! Just wanna say I've been subscribed for about 5 or 6 years now and always use you for my modding needs so thank you for all that you do. Second Ive done the jailbreak successfully and FTPed some backup PS3 games in the dev_hdd0 folder. Seems like no matter what I do I can only get the games to launch from the boot file when I go into the file manager in MM. AAny thoughts or solutions on what I could be do to make them appear in the games column in MM or webman methods? Im not using isos im using the raw files. Thanks again man!

You will also need a torrent client. I reccomend vuse. Also once you find the game don't click download. Scroll down until you see a green text that reads get this torrent.

Install the dlc and then to install the rap files make sure you’re psn account is activated on your ps3 just sign into psn and go to account information and then activation and then game after that you can sign out and download psnpatch (a homebrew app you can find on brewology) and then open psnpatch and once you see all the text and stuff press l1 and after a couple of seconds or maybe longer depending on how many rap files you have it will turn black and then it will show text that says all rap files installed press start, when you see that press the start button and then the circle button and you should have the rap files installed. czcams.com/video/tVwYcCefDi4/video.html You can watch this video as it’s easier to understand

Yes a 2TB is the largest that will fit into a PS3 but not any 2TB HDD will fit... Google the HDD's that will fit...Go to psx-place & look...the information is there

Everything great thanks. Although, I will never use FTP on this, its beyond slow. Just put them on a USB and transfer over that way, as CFW can read NTFC anyway so its really not an issue.
As of November, something prevents the connection on the latest version of FileZilla. I started by using v3.6.2 and got constant errors despite disabling firewall, changing active/passive transfer, etc. etc. switched back to FZv2 and it worked instantly, in case anyone is having similar problems

OK I figured out that I had to put the first Numbered folder in the root of the GAMES folder instead of the Tittle labeled folder.

it sends you to your playstation menu and then you can click the disk because it replaces what was there

If you dont have that folder named exdata then create a folder named exdata and it will still work

I never understand why everybody keeps the ps3update folder. I always delete it, since you won't need it and it's a waste of space.
It’s good to keep on the USB just in case the PS3 soft bricks so it saves copying it back over again. Its just a bit more convenient😊
