I don't know for Ben platt, but in know that Ariana Grande has 20/30 producers and songwriters behind her and directors 😅 there is no comparison with the art that only 2 VERY young siblings create. Ariana alone can't do anything, Billie Eilish at only 20 years old can also compose by herself and that's what she already does, since her brother gives her only a hand, the rest is olny her works. There is a very strong difference.
Collab? Hell no, Billie doesn’t need to collab with anyone, 1- bc she hates, 2- because ariana grande alone doesn’t know how to do anything, Billie would work with her producers and songwriters so ..😅🤷🏻♀️

I think the story of this album is cohesive, beautiful and well-structured. Bad guy is the introduction to this dangerous guy billie is close to,with xanny being the moment where she avoids following in his bad habits. However, you should see me in a crown is the moment she falls in love with him, and tries to win him over, with all the good girls go to hell and wish you were gay being the moments she gets rejected and becomes jealous. Both 8 and my strange addiction are her developing bad and dangerous habits after being rejected with 8 being a throwback to her childhood and how far she’s fallen from her innocent side she once had. Bury a friend is the peak of all that abuse where the title of the album fits perfectly. Ilomilo is the moment of her emotional awareness, as she knows he is never going to love her. Listen before I go and I love you are either the last moments of her life as she reminisces over what could’ve been, or her acceptance of this guy not being into her. Goodbye is the final chapter, where ideas presented in all the other tracks are put to rest and she finally moves on, or it could be the song that plays as she jumps off the roof presented in Listen before I go. And as seen in ‘My Strange Addiction’, she uses a scene from the office in which he makes his own movie. Realistically, she’s created a movie. A soundtrack to the movie, all of it . And if I’m right, she will be releasing a music video every day after her album release to present the story she’s built. In conclusion, I’m crying because it’s that good and yeah I’m in love with billie fucking eilish

That fact that you were so moved my her music that you cried says a lot. It takes a lot for music to move me to tears. Without going through my sob story here I'll just say I have PTSD and it comes with an emotional numbing mechanism. I have a hard time feeling sad or upset about anything. The first time I heard Listen Before I Go it was like someone shattered that protective barrier and I had a really good cry. Billie is such an enigma. She touches on the hardest emotions and states of mind that we choose not to talk about or are scared to and she turns it into beautiful art. There are artists that do this but only a handful who can do it consistently and do a beautiful job at the same time.
I told you that you weren't ready for this album.
