I'm a business owner and when I see your work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn your craft it just motivates me so much 🙏🏻
That's what's up, thanks a lot 👊🏻
I haven't done a discharge job in ages, but I still remember the chemically fishing pier smell. That print was beautiful! Not only did your client get the best you had to offer, you played your cards right to show this off with capturing it. Great stuff.
I love discharge prints, got a run of white on black tees done and was really impressed, but I had no idea you could get so many different colors with this method, thats wicked.
Lee you are a talented man keep the videos coming. You have inspired me to get started in the industry.
Thanks a lot man, awesome to hear 👊🏻
You've got 1 of the dopest setups and the cleanest videos 🔥
Thank you for the amazing video and all the knowledge shared. To be honest, i knew about waterbased discharge, never heard of plastisol discharge.
You have an amazing talent man, i really enjoy watching all your videos.
That print came out awesome! North of nine have really nice designs!
Loving all the small details added in the videoz they are really eye catching, even if they are small 👌🏼 nicely done! And the chapter maker👏🏼
I appreciate that man. All the little details in these videos take forever to make but I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope to keep stepping these up a lot more over the rest of the year
Great video thanks for sharing, I remember attending to a "Discharge seminar" for 250 bucks and it wasn't any better than this video , keep up the good work.
Sorry to hear that, there's a lot of experts and consultants in this industry charging for bullshit. We're gonna change that here. Thanks man!
Love plasticharge! Im never short of amazed at how tidy your shop stays! Goals!
Thanks man!
@@leestuart38 of course, brother. You are an inspiration to us out here in the trenches! 🤘
Worth watching.. I am going to watch all the videos.. I think you are justifying the tshirt designs and screen printing. I loved it.
Love everything you do man! Thanks for inspiring and motivating. When I get notified that you posted a new vid I get all giddy like a school girl 😂.
Hah stoked to have that effect. Thanks!
Thank you for posting such awesome videos... Love them. I really need to try plastisol inks.. only using the water based right now. Still pretty new at this and learning so much from you. From one Canadian to another, THANK YOU!!!!
If you're new, get on that plastisol! It's so much easier to work with so you can focus on the fundamentals of printing. Thanks and good luck!
Great video, Lee!! You gave me something new to think about!!
Thanks! It's a cool option to have on the shelf
Killed it as always brother. Have to say also, you the most organized/cleanest shop. I've watch a lot of videos too.
Thanks a lot. I make sure to clean up after myself every day or two so it doesn't turn into a shirt storm like a lot of shops
@@leestuart38 Thanks for all the videos also man. Excellent quality and content.
Yo Lee awesome work man! Man of many talents. You should do a vid on how you edit your photos and your photography in general! Setting, lens, etc. That would be dope.
Another great viseo. I am looking forward to try discharge ink pretty soon. I feel confident enough to go ahead and giving it a try! Gracias...Emilio fron The Enchanment Island,Puerto Rico
What an amazing, detailed and well made video! Bravo sir!
Thanks so much!
Your work is amazingly professional and it seems you take every job serious and with great detail and care.
I appreciate that!
@@leestuart38 You deserve it bro!
Do you have an email? I have some questions on discharge vs the antique style you have made before where you can see the shirt fibers through the ink.
Awesome vid, great tips and info as always Lee.
Loved all the new effects too. They came out great!!
Thanks a lot, been working hard on some new stuff to improve the look and feel of these things
@@leestuart38 Well, you are definitely doing it right 💪🏼
Definitely going to try it!!
You inspire a lot . Love from India.
Lee that background sound was horable....🤣🤣🤣.whohaaaa....whohhoo...ohaaaa..ohooo... awesome... VEDIO...love to watch it...👍👍👍👍👍😃
love it when shirt printed with discharge ink. supersoft and longlasting. i use discharge ink for most of my printing. shout out from borneo island.
Can't really beat that discharge feel 🤘🏻
Will be using discharge in a few months and will remember your advice thanks a lot for this great video and God bless.
Happy to help 🤘🏻
Nice print outputs... the video edits always amazing... 🤘
Thanks a lot!
Always looking forward to a Lee Stewart video. Hopefully will have some vinyl videos soon.
Lots of vinyl stuff coming 🤘🏻
Thank you for this awesome content. You always deliver!
Thanks for watching man 🙌🏻
I don’t understand anything about screen printing and have no plans to learn but I just love the edits and quality of the videos haha
That's what's up 🙌🏻. Thanks for watching
Those mixing labels are 🔥🔥🔥 haha!
Just don't show that first 1/4" 😂😂😂
Whaaaatttt?!?! This is AMAZING!!! I’ve gotta try it!
That emulsion is layed down so nice
I see you're making use of the new Chapter Markers on CZcams. Like you say Lee, details matter!
They do! I just discovered those things and plan on adding them to the videos where it makes sense to use them
@@leestuart38 Right on.
That print came out super clean 👌👌
Definitely one of my favorites I've done in a while 🙌🏻
Great vid man! Been following since you had less subs than me I think! Lol
I’ve been looking forward to getting in to discharge for a long time but am just waiting to invest in a larger dryer and wanted to wait until I moved in to a larger space, which I finally have. This is definitely going to be helpful in practicing discharge when I do
Thanks man. I'm about to do the same over here, can't wait 🙌🏻
You're right about substrates, results aren't necessarily consistent. I love the way discharge looks on black triblend.
Yup it always varies. 3 black shirts from different brands will all get a different result
Always Amazing Prints @Lee Stuart
Thanks dude 👊🏻
Dude just saw this vid !.... great stuff bro. I'm a oldschool printer and this is sometime i will be testing at my shop for sure.
Love the design, it is awesome, 2 huge thumbs up.
Thanks man 👊🏻
About to use ryocharge for the first time. Thanks for the tips.
I will definitely use this.
You are still a hero.
Great videos...great content. I am learning a hell of alot! Hope you write a screen printing book / create DVD's one day. Greetings from NYC!
Thanks a lot. No need for dvds and stuff, it'll always be here on CZcams for free for everyone to learn 🙌🏻
awesome video lee print looks super great good job
Thanks a lot 🙌🏻
Great video. Really cool to learn the how this particular process works. I'm excited to see some more of the hat embroidery.
Thanks a lot. Got lots more embroidery coming, I think I'll test out puff next
Sweet man. Looking very forward to it. I was bummed I missed the 38RideCo sale. Everything in my size was gone. Haha. Congrats on all the success man. It's awesome to see good hard working people making it happen.
R.O.G.U.E lab at it again love that colorway mnannnnnnnfire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anotha Great video ,,,,,,KEEP BEING GREAT!
wow...great lesson in discharging...
Learn something new every video .thank you
Glad to hear!
Beautiful work dude!
Thanks man!
Amazing print
Yeah bro your videos are actually worth watching. I appreciate how easy you make it to understand with out getting off the subject and getting stuck on shit that nobody cares about, ya feel me? LOL good deal keep it coming bro
Really appreciate that man!
Those new touches on the video make a huge difference.
Also the colors really do pop after the heat. Holy shit
Details matter 🙌🏻. I hope to have these things on an entirely different level by the end of the year
@@leestuart38 hell yeah. Looking forward to seeing it happen 🤙🏼
Thanks Lee!
Thanks for the info great content
Thanks for watching 🙌🏻
Fire print brotha!
Thanks man 🤘🏻
Just got a shop a few months ago it's ok because I can write all over head but had to leave my screen printer good to see you screen printing. Ps if you get a shop make sure electricity is included I did good stuff.
I own my new building
I been wondering about discharge but I love plastisol, and you just answered my questions! What pressure washer are you using to spray out your stencil? I see so many print videos with the same wide pressure head and haven’t figured it out😅
love your videos but do you think you can make a video of how shipping works?
That shirt is so sick!!! And I still dig the shit out of that grey hat. I need one of those in my life.
Soon! I gotta fix those couple little things with the digitizing still and then I'll be running off a whole bunch
Killer Lee awesome video
Thanks a lot 🤘🏻
This is amazingly
That was badass!!
awesome video dude! Quick question, are you using ryonets discharge white also? any recommendations when printing white discharge?
Love it!
love the videos and will be sharing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell ya thanks! That's what helps this thing grow so I can make more of these 🙌🏻
Can you give step by step of things I need when it comes to printing using a heat press? No one gives me exact tips and what to buy
Sick print 👌
Thanks man
can you do more HOW TO'S and tutorials please, thanks!
If people enjoy this one I definitely plan on more 🤘🏻
Great all things in one video
Thanks!
I love this stuff and it’s super versatile but I really do not have the appropriate shop setup for it sadly. Also, ventilation is vital if you don’t wanna die so I rarely print this ink system but I love the end result.
Ventilation is definitely an issue with this stuff. I run the 3M 6006 cartridges on my respirator to filter out the formaldehyde and sulfate and it's actually very workable. The shop just stinks for 3 days after 😂
Lee Stuart yeah smells like ass. Absolutely love the end byproduct of plasticharge tho. I did a test to combat people saying it wasn’t possible with a flash a few years back to see if they were right (they were wrong)... it’s totally possible, but it is super time consuming as noted and also even worse with no ventilation system to pull fumes out. Also not a fan of the ink waste that needs to go in the bin afterward that may not get used as it’s horribly bad for the environment. But I digress haha.
Nice cap👍🏾👍🏾....no capping.
Just checked out your instagram, so awesome to see your from Winnipeg!!!
Sure am 🙌🏻
Hey bud.. great informative videos..
You're a natural in front of the camera too
I have just started out with vinyl and screen print etc.. would you use a 43t mesh with water based ink ??.
I think I bought the wrong one and need to change it...Thanks buddy..
I think 43t is the equivalent to a 110 mesh, so in that case I wouldn't. I would use something with a higher mesh count like 160 mesh for white and 230 and up for color. Thanks a lot man
Thats great printing 👍👍👍, can you cure it by heat press and for what temperature and approximate seconds! Thanks
Thanks man. I've honestly never tried so I can't say for sure. I know it wouldn't be optimal though because those waters/solvents/gasses need to escape out of the fabric during the cure and a heat press would definitely make that very difficult
Nice job!
Thanks 🤘🏻
Yo good looking out bro on this video.... There's not a lot of video showing how to use discharge ... so this will help all of us ... good looking out ... #GMONSTAS #LBC
Glad to help man. I noticed there wasn't a lot out there (stuff that was watchable anyways 😂) so I figured I'd throw one together
I definitely don’t dare to print discharge but you definitely killed it.
Thanks man. I honestly avoid discharge for the most part unless it's requested by the client, that shit is poison 😂
Great content dude... ❤ the video
Can u plz tell the machine name?
one tip i learn doing plasticharge dilute the salt first with distillate water(not much) it will make way easier to mix the salt in to the ink
I think you mean discharge powder, but I've heard of that
Do you register this the same as plastisol ink, using the clear transfer tape?
awesome video, you crazy brother
Thanks 🙌🏻
Can we get a discharge in v2? Maybe in conjunction with water based?
Have you ever tried printing straight discharge underbase then print plastisol colors on top through a 230 mesh? That print looks great! Rotten egg salad sandwich is what discharge smells like to me.
I haven't done that yet, I'm honestly moving away from discharge completely
(forgot to add) can't wait to see the new shop / new equipment upgrades / new product...
It's going to be a big change once things are set up and running, can't wait 🙌🏻
give us a hint...the trip has been really rad for the past couple of years....what's 'on the stove'?
Absolutely amazing video yet again lee ! I have a question I’m finding hard to get an answer to, can you do this on hoodies and get a good result ?
Thanks man. If it's a 100% cotton hoodie, then yes. But that's a very rare find, most have at least 20% polyester in them
Lee Stuart awesome cheers mate :) absolute legend 👌👌
That formaldehyde is no joke
Ya that shit is poison 😂. I printed it without a respirator once and learned my lesson the hard way
LOL I printed with it once and never did it again too funny definitely need protection great video super content
This is a nice video.
Hey man. Cool video. I've been printing for years but I've never used discharge. I want to use plasticharge, just the plastisol with the discharge additive. Most of my artwork is 4-6 colors, nearly all of it is sim process, or at least multi shades of similar colors for effect. Point being, the colors go wet on wet and mix.
Can you please tell me, how will this be effected by the discharge additive if the colors touch and mix. Do you have any experience with this? Id really appreciate it if you can give be a run down on this.
Is that spot or simulated process?
Killer video, Lee! We have ran a couple discharge jobs but nothing more than one color due to the emulsion breaking down. Going to have to try some hardener next time. Did you have any Issues with emulsion breakdown with this job? Is it harder to reclaim a screen with the hardener added? Thanks, Lee!
Thanks a lot. No breakdown on this one, the screens actually still have ink on them 5 days later and they're still holding up haha. They do become a lot harder to reclaim though, I just leave them in the dip tank for a lot longer than usual to make up for it
we use Kiwo polycol one coat for discharge , this emulsion is thick and never had a breakdown issue when coated correctly , "harder reclaim a screen with the hardener added" yes
exCellent vid thanks Lee.. just aweSome results WOW .. Q: tell me about personal protection regarding your workspace..... I know plastisol is not a good diet... imagine drinking a 1/2 cc of antifreeze/glycol a day .. if you can smell it and it makes you want to throw up, your body is 'ingesting' a lil at a time.. it no joke my friend.. looking forward to your awesome vids thanks :D
a question
how much is 50% of the base but in grams
Considering how much this stuff stinks we appreciate you taking the time to get all these sick shots!
Definitely wasn't fun doing the takes I needed without the respirator 😂
@@leestuart38 That earns you some real respect from printers and creators.
Question 🙋♂️ , that combination of plastisol ink with discharge made the final result feels and be breathable like water based + discharge it would ?
big fan from Philippines! :D
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@leestuart38 FYI your videos inspires me to start a brand sensei! haha facebook.com/OKPERIL :D
I would like to know. What discharge ink bran do you recomend for eater base inks?
Magna, Matsui and green Galaxy are all great
How helpful is the laser system on your press. Is it worth the money? I never see you use it in your videos.
For every day stuff, it's basically useless. But for certain things like lining up a print to the top and center of a pocket or anything else you need precision, then it's definitely worth having
I like teacher Lee
It's definitely different to try to teach instead of just share. Maybe I'll do more
Does the ryocharge and discharge agent work with FN Inks? Could you possibly make a video testing this? :)
Ryocharge does not work with FN ink
I would really like to work on this type of print. We run the same exact conveyor as you. What belt speed and temp setting are you running? Thank you!!
It's going to be completely different from my shop to yours even with the same setup. The ambient conditions play a big part in cure time, so you'll need to do testing
Hi, which cam you're using for shooting? great quality :D
Canon 6D Mark ii
