  • "Unlocking the Power of Scientific Biomechanics! Say hello to effective, fast results with the Truncated V in orthodontics. 💪✨ "
Burstone's geometries provide a framework for understanding the different force systems that can be applied to correct dental malocclusions. By incorporating the truncated V concept into the clinical practice, orthodontists can strategically manipulate the forces exerted on the teeth, enabling precise control over tooth movement and alignment.
The application of this concept enhances the effectiveness and predictability of orthodontic treatment, leading to more accurate and desirable movements for patients seeking fast and better results.

can it be done when the TPA is soldered to the bands ?

For active applications of the TPA, by making bends to produce different force systems, I strongly recommend the removable appliance. If you make the bends in a TPA that will be cemented, the cement will not appropriately cure. And it's very difficult to make bends intraorally in a TPA.
