I still remember how we watched this on cinema, tensions between us were pretty high, I couldnt recall anymore what was the reason but I knew we were on the edge. Then we watched this film, seeing the on screen couple happy made us a lil relieved until we held hands throughout the movie.
Then as the scenes unfold, I can never forget how we both cried and how we were terrified we would end up like them.
Now as Im writing this, with a heavy heart, for whatever purpose it is now that we are apart somehow if it is destined for our paths to cross again it would, if not, I am still grateful for the memories and lessons you left me.

The twists and turns of LIZQUEN'S roles here are just phenomenal and mature. Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil are just amazing, versatile, brilliant actors of our era. This real life couple are truly made from heaven. This movie reminds me of a movie called "Love rosie" ,where life turned upside down for Rosie in a matter of seconds, and she found herself years later in a different place of what she dreamed of and with someone she doesn't even love. I feel like it's going to be a good movie, Im excited

I thought Jadaone was the next Cathy Garcia Molina, but she succeded beyond my expectation. I've watched her Never Not Love You and I know only a few people appreciate it, but that's her charm. She creates a film with solid story without sugar coats and formula. I dont know why but Never Not Love You has evoked an emotion from me that I cant explain. It was melancholic and fear at the same time.
but this movie! WOOOOOW, the music they used and color grading of their college life scenes was so nostalgic! It brought me back to my happy memories, including the fun and exciting ones! I dunno why, but I missed my friends. I missed how I've lived my life before. I miss how fun it was, how cool everything was and how my life was full of color. All because of those specific scenes.
This is something I look forward to. Not becuase of the stars, but because of the story. Not all films can make an impact as much as this. And I know this film is not for everyone. And that's fine. It's nice to know, that somehow a film like this only exists for me.
Actually, NEVER NOT LOVE YOU was the Best Mainstream Film of 2018 and Jadine's best so far. That's according to film critics and some award-giving bodies. At solid naman talaga. And this new movie of Direk Tonet might be the Best Film of Lizquen. Nakapainteresting ng trailer. Iba ang Direk Jadaone. Great job. I am fan.

What if ang mga what ifs nila are Tin's imagination only. What if Raf is really dead. Tin is now with another man but sometimes in her lonely moments she still tries to conjure those memories with Raf and make up stories in her head na what if Raf is living in the present. Kaya in her imagination, Raf is so aggressive about reliving the past and without guilt because for Tin that was her happiest and she thinks na if Raf is still alive, she's still hoping that Raf will fight for her, fight for their love. But always she's the one who is hesitating and halting Raf's advances because in reality mali naman talaga na meron siyang ibang lalaking iniisip while being in a relationship.
Kaya ang title is Alone/Together. Because now in the world of the living, in the present she is ALONE but in her memories they can be TOGETHER.

"traydor ang mga alaala" i can see myself in this movie. She left me because I was undergrad and she's a degree holder. Maybe she felt that she doesn't have a future with me. That's why I use that as a motivation to graduate. Remember Success isn't about who finishes first.

I don't know why, but this has been my favorite Filipino romance movie. Grabe yung relatability sa movie lalo na kung may pangarap ka.
As a person with a dream, palagi rin akong nauunahan ng takot. Ang hirap talagang maging matapang. I failed many times, at nawalan na ako ng gana sa mga pangarap ko noon.
But this movie reminded me not just of who I was, but also of who I can be. Hindi pa huli ang lahat.

Also, napaka naive na sabihin na "ginaya nito si ganyan" kasi to be honest, we live in a time where most things are unoriginal. So we have to make do with what we have. The films that you've watched which you think is "original" have mostly taken inspiration from other films, have stolen a few scenes here and there, even lines and dialogues (just tweaked a little bit para naman hindi exact copy paste.) That's just how it works, make do with what we have..
The thing is, in reality, we have limited literature, we cannot make something out of thin air, we can't make something without inspiration.
It's not about absolute originality at the end of the day, kasi that's nearly impossible, it's about sincerity, relatability and effectivity.
Just my two cents.

Na UAAP lang nakakapaghiwalay satin?I miss us. The old us. Yung dalawang probinsyana at probinsyano na walang alam sa manila pero nakipagsapalaran para sa pangarap. We only have each other back then. Kahit makayo ang UP sa UST hindi naging hadlang. Ikaw kasama ko sa lahat ng masasaya at malulungkot na pangyayari sa buhay ko. Dahil sa duwag akong mag take ng risk. Yun bang makikita mo sa mga batchmates mo na napag iwanan ka. Yung mga hindi naman ganoon ka talino noon pero successful na ngayon. Pero na realize ko na, di pala pwedeng bitiwan na lang basta basta ang pangarap. Go lang. Kaya gaya ni tine, gusto ko ring balikan kung ano ako noon. Kung ano ang gusto ko noon.
