    I am super excited for the protractor head, and the fact that you guys are selling it as just the head!

    I just received my protractor and I love it. I definitely need it for all the small stuff I make. Thanks

    I love Woodpeckers tools. That protractor is so accurate & well designed (all Woodpeckers tools are). I owned a Starrett protractor (now sold) & I can say with certainty that the Woodpeckers one in this video is actually better than the Starrett one!

    Having an accurate protractor head is a hard thing to find (more aren't). This could be super useful.

    Before you introduced the heads and rules as a regularly stocked product they were offered as a OTT. There were some upgrades between the OTT heads and the stocked product heads. Do all these heads fit the OTT rules? Think this OTT was about 2019-2020. If so, then agree it is great that the heads are available on their own.

      Brian, the heads are fully interchangeable with all the blades, including the OTT version. The indexing mechanism is different, but all the heads fit all the blades, new or old.

    Other than being able to lock the head at any point along the blade, what additional functionality does the protractor head give you that the Posi-lock T-Square does not have?

      Mark, It's easier to hit the "in between" angles with the Protractor than with the Posi-Lock. The scale is in 1-degree increments and the adjustment is smooth and fluid. The Posi-Lock lives up to its name...it locks in precisely at every 5-degrees, but there's no scale between the 5's and it naturally tries to jump into the next 5. The scribing guides are nearly identical, but the Posi-Lock blade is thinner.

    I like the protractor head really nice , but not happy about the new mechanical pencil made overseas , i see they even took down the picture of the pencil showing where it was made , pretty sad deal in my opinion , now there even trying to hide where its made lol the old red mechanical pencil that was made in the USA said something about this company but now they moved to overseas products 😢

    • @WoodpeckersLLC
      @WoodpeckersLLC  Před rokem +2

      Had no choice, Tom. The company we were buying them from stopped production and we could not find another U.S. made mechanical pencil. Pentel, while Japanese, is a very respected brand and has been for years.

    This protractor head must be confusing. You calimed to draw a line with a Sharpie at 2.5". You actually mistakingly drew the line at 3.5", and now you have a permanent line at the wrong location.

      Probably just a simple mistake. I have observed that woodpecker scales are very clearly marked and easy to read.

      @@jamesconnors5653 Yes but for a polished presenter this should have never happened. There should be no mistakes at this price point.
