    70cc Racing Minarelli Vertical
    7.90HP @ 7250rpm
    5.73ftlbs @ 7000 rpm
    First pull with an untuned 19mm phbg. It was so lean I had to run the whole pull with the choke on. Still nearly 8hp! That means it only gets better from here. With my usual vm20 and a good tune, I'm shooting for 10hp.

    Does VM18 work I have someone interested in the top end, also is there any pipes that come with a 48mm flange, he doesn't want to weld.

    Could I ask what idle and main jet you started with, building a similar project. Many thanks

    Ethan, if I order the vm20 and jets right now could u hook it up before u send it out? It may not be wise seeings it won’t be broke in. If not, you can bet ur a** I’m sending it back before winters over.

    tighten the chain.. I swear it was lagged a bit I keep watching it over and over...

      Theres deflection of the steel in the mounts and frame. No matter how much its tightened the power pulls it back

    Based on my limited knowledge, the pipe isn't optimal for the engine. Peaks at seven, revs to eleven.

    • @smolikperformance3867
      @smolikperformance3867  Před 2 lety

      For peak HP correct it is not optimal. However for our single speed direct drive application it's closer to ideal. We ideally want the peak hp in the upper middle of the rpm range with a very very shallow bell curve to evenly distribute the power all the way to slight overrev.

      @@smolikperformance3867 broad curve for the single speed. Got it. 80cc MX pipes close to optimal?

    • @smolikperformance3867
      @smolikperformance3867  Před 2 lety

      @@marthamryglod291 no. Most mx pipes are too peaky. Best pipes that I prefer are 70cc supermotard pipes. Yasuni R2 gives a great curve
