- We took the pop-up to Jekyll Island Campground for a fall beach trip. Little did we know, the squirrels and raccoons would enjoy our breakfast before we did!

We stayed at a campground on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina this fall and were visited by a white skunk! It came by both nights we were there and even stole a trash bag while we were right there by the fire. We were so scared of it, it was so hilarious. Watch out for those animals!

I had no ideas squirrels could open a cooler either! Maybe it wasn’t latched all the way? We did have squirrels chew through one that was partly made of cloth. Trashed it. They are...Resourceful!
I think it was the raccoons that opened the cooler! Brooklyn had a pet squirrel when she was little and swears a squirrel would never be so naughty ;)
When we go to jekyll island we take everything we need
