This song has always been rock-y. DAY6 is a pop/rock band. The instrumental in this version is pretty true to the original, and Dami even threw in some vocal fry which is impressive.

Also Secret Love Song (have tissues), Touch, Perfect, Speechless, Copycat, Havana (massive Dami warning and SuA's doing NOTHING to help) that I can think of this second.
Dreamcatcher were always big fans of Day6 and have been hosted multiple times by Young-K, Jay, Wonpil and Dowoon on various broadcasts in the past. Dreamcatcher even said on camera that they admire Day6 and gave them some gifts. Day6 were really impressed by Dreamcatcher and their vocals. So it was time to make a cover, finally.
