    Thank you! I have been practicing my 22-inch board for a few weeks now. I can't thank you enough for all the videos you've made. I even learned to carve (a little bit) recently, also thanks to you. I really enjoy riding and hope to be more proficient in the near future.

    Great video comparison. You did a great job explaining pros and cons. I got both size boards and totally agree with everything you said. The penny is just pure fun. The nickel is so much easier and stable. Love your energy and passion. Your a breath of fresh air on CZcams. Thank you!

    A very sane, straightforward guide! Nice chart at the end, too. I like your point about getting the board that excites you. Yes, it might be harder to ride at first, but a board that's really calling your name, so to speak, is one you'll probably keep coming back to and having fun with if you feel a connection with it.

    def agree, good info. I have both, and am wayyy more comfortable on the 27in, but I have a size 14 shoe, its too tight a fit on the 22.

    I originally bought the 27" because I thought the original penny was gonna be too small. However, I bought a Hurley 22" knockoff, and put my penny wheels and bearings on it (I tried to put the trucks on too, but the holes didn't line up), and it's actually a pretty nice ride.

    I’d say if you’re buying it for the durability, but want the same feel as a regular skateboard, get the bigger one.

    for speed, which one is superior, 22 or 27 ?

    • @pennyboardtyler
      @pennyboardtyler  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Penny Skateboards claims they’re both “built for speed,” but I personally think the 22inch is slightly faster from my own experience

    Im about to get a 22.5 inch penny board and im a beginner, my shoe size is 10-10.5
    Will the board be any good for me?

    • @pennyboardtyler
      @pennyboardtyler  Před 6 dny +1

      I’m a 9.5 US and I feel comfortable. If you’re a true beginner though, like I mention in the video, it might be more beneficial to have a little more surface area and get a 27-inch. That said, you can still learn on the penny so if that’s what you feel, go for it

    • @pennyboardtyler
      @pennyboardtyler  Před 2 dny

      @@DOT0_O7 they both have pros and cons - the 22inch has better portability as it's easier to carry or put in a bag. The 27inch has a little more control and stability allowing you to better avoid things (IMO)
