I really like that you show us these videos to connect the hobby to the wild. Hopefully with these videos, people become more conscious of human's activities impacting the ocean
you've got to remember that "climate change" thats been so called destroying reefs has been happening for millions of years now. I do gotta agree with the fact that theres a lot of plastic in the ocean thats affecting the ocean. But honestly corals are thriving and living.
Thankyou for all your hard work jake you have done your work bringing the hobby along to where it is now educating and aligning the hobby with real world education, you truly lived and breathed this hobby you are sorely missed x
Omg i spent whole day watching your diving videos. Hoping the never end:-)))) amazing reef, amazing footage and great comments. Its nice to see the details of the light in real reef so i can kind of mimic in my tank👍🥇 Ok goin to another video:-))))
i always get jealous when i see other people in their vacation photos snorkeling on reefs. i have never been myself but have always been fascinated by the ocean and the reef is my favorite Biome. so i always feel like they have less of an appreciation for it than i do (even though i know that is not the case and that is just me gate keeping). but with you i'm just happy to see you do it because i know you share the same passion as me. so thank you for sharing with me and all of us!
Jake as allways great material. The only thing that bums me out is they picked you to do all that kool stuff. Lol. I say that with tounge and cheek. I Remer the days when guys our age where do n all the research and hard work. For not alot if monet. I hope people appreciate the passion that you have. It shows in your videos. Peace.
Amazing Jake! Thanks for these awsome videos I can't believe how many incredible corals and those Butterfly😍😍 Can you imagine if you could set up a tank and just go for a snorkel for your fish & corals🤔😂🤣✌💜💜🌿
Butterflyfish says he's just doing some pruning XD thanks for taking us along. It was really interesting to hear from Mr. Chalias just how much the corals change when they're moved to different habitats. I wonder how many stunners might be hiding under all that brown? EDIT: All that purple stuff that looks like the spray insulation - are they sponges?
Awesome! Just what I needed this morning. So, you mentioned you’re organizing a co-op? Are we going to see more Solomon Island corals showing up here in CO/US?
How much phosphates would have these waters??? Corals are brown, i dont think its like our aquariums. For me is a mith this thing of 0.03 ppm phosphates in the ocean water.
That’s dope! I would love to remove one huge porites boulder home!! 🤣🤣💙 BTW jake, u are turning hot pink! Due to the intense rays uh lol🤙🏻 power vid dude

I'm SURPRISED to see very few fishes in the healthy coral habitat.
I’d be too freaked out about encountering Tiger and Bull Sharks to do this lol
When I see a reef builder's video pop up, I retreat to my quiet place in the house and zone the Fukc out!! This is great M8.
This place lives up to it’s reputation
Thank you Jake
WOW just WOW :) Thx Jake.
Just spectacular, wow, thanks
nice vid
Fantastique , quel rêve , j'espère un jour pouvoir partir là-bas
In a word.... awesome! 👍❤️
I find it reassuring that alot of corals in the wild are beige/brown as well!
A vast majority of wild corals are brown - the same way that a vast majority of plants are green, not red.
Living the dream Jake, way to go!! Just don’t forget to send me a piece of that blue anacropora 😁
I gotta get a piece of it first, but we'll put it into culture before being exported
Simply awesome, great Job 👍👍👍

I'd love to have few wild Coral's in my collection but most of the active reef's are preserved and banned from collecting coral specimens
Those butterfly’s that eat the coral are beautiful but damn just eat something else!!!!!!! Lol 😒
