I wanted to mention, something I didn't notice under the beauty lights, but was SO revealing in natural lights is i had quite a bit of fallout from the glitter pink shade. It didn't show up under the bright lights, but when I got done filming, I could see it in the bathroom mirror🤪 So just FYI. If you have this Palette, do your face makeup after your eyes❤❤❤

Haha. I mix Loving Tan 2 hr express and the regular self tanner & the Bondi Sands Aero mousse. The Bondi makes it not as orange, and becomes the perfect color. And I think mixing the 2 hr & regular self tanner from Loving Tan lasts longer and I get a darker color without having to apply 2 coats.. So silly, I know🤣 But it took me years to find the perfect mixture for my skin tone and it works😆 My other fav which I don't use as much because I have to order it from the UK is called SOSO by SJ Dripping..😁❤

Tom Ford is way above my price point, even for luxury makeup so his quads would have to be beyond amazing to even consider. And even though the color story is gorgeous, only Tom Ford regulars need this one. Tara, such a phenomenal job of showing us pink and purple lovers other options! And you look beauteous as always! Just a tip if you really want one go on Saks off 5th site and u can find some on their even ones that are still sold on sephora and TF site for 88$ for 39 to 50$ also if u have outlet stores ware you live their is an estee Lauder makeup outlet and TF is owned by them they have them marked sale prices with am extra percent off alot so you can get them for like 35$ alot of the time also the lipstick and alot of other things . Just wanted to help if you ever wanted to dive in to TF at a better price I paid 50 for my first one and I'm obsessed and ready to get another one;)

It suits your skin tone beautifully 🥰 I reviewed the Tom Ford Insolent Rose a few days ago, lol I was the one who spotted first when stepped into a TF Boutique and since the moment I saw it, felt in love💖 while the Desert Fox 🦊 look kind of boring .... Yes these new quads are the TF standard formula but the color story is so different than many others Tom Ford palettes, lol and I have a lot of them 🙈 (embarrassed to admit) 🤪 The darker shade is very soft in pigmentation for sure, yet it works, with extra effort, I think the entire quad is to give a soft sophisticated look. The two that come to mind are the Midsommer Petit Pro and the Petit Fours Lilas. It really just has those mauves and subtle cool tones. After TF was acquired by Estée Lauder, I saw a significant decline across the board, especially the fragrances. I’m not sure he even drives any design or formulation decisions anymore.
I had already purchased this palette and returned it. It was way too glittery with tons of fallout no matter how many times I tried to apply it differently. The darkest color has no pigment and is very patchy. I was very disappointed in this quad. I love the wet/dry formula from Tom Ford. This does not even compare to that formula. Ill wait to see what the next release is. Hopefully it will be the wet/dry formula. Thanks for the great video Tara.
I can’t WAIT to get this quad, it’s the FIRST quad that TF has released that has cought my eye at this price point !! I did get the face palette with the peach color in it, the lightest one during the 50% off sale and do love that shade... I want a TF quad so HAPPY a color scheme finally grabs me

Sleuth Tara 🕵🏻♀️ with the comparisons! I have saks discounted TF wet dry quads (nude dip and daydream) and that’s the only formula I’m interested in investing.
When you showed the Meteoric and First Frost palettes, I started thinking maybe I should purchase one of those! Especially the First Frost! I just realized that I have not yet purchased any of Tom Ford’s eyeshadow palettes! I really like the Insolent Rose color story, especially that gorgeous icy pink! That’s definitely the star of the show! The matte mauve shadow is really nice too, but I agree with you on that purple one. I know I used to think about getting his Seductive Rose palette, which I’m wondering how similar it is to this one. I also just purchased the ND Mini Love palette, and the colors are quite similar. If the First Frost palette is still available, I might go ahead and pick up that one!😝
Meteoric and first frost are two of my favorite TF quads and I 100% agree that the two glitters in meteoric are so similar but both soooo pretty, I can't complain & the mates in that palette are so creamy, dreamy, blendable! First frost- I mean.. THAT PINK is delicious & tom ford's wet/dry formula is A++. think I'll pass on insolent rose though... GREAT review!!!

Hi Tara, I saw Lexi Jong do a review of this palette and the deep color has a pink sparkle running through it, so if you put it on the lid it has a pink shift through it so its ment to be dusty like a 🌹!( PS i see the sparkle and pink flip in your swatches) 💗 💐 😍

One of the things that keeps stopping me from buying these quads (aside from the price) is that every color story I like feels like it is either all super dark or too light, that there needs to be a shade to add depth, or that all the shades just seem dark. This one looks like it might be good, though I’ve also been drooling over “honeymoon” for a while too. Edit: Nevermind, haha. Just saw your swatch comparisons and I definitely don’t need this. 😂😂😂
I’ve had one Tom Ford palette. I kept it forever and never even reached for it. I don’t know it was a waste of money for me. I kept it until I know it had to be expired (7 years) then trashed it. I think Sidney grace, Charlotte tilbury Natasha denona have the market cornered with their formulas.

It’s pretty but we have so many of these shades lately. I’ve ordered the pmg quad and I will order nd when it comes to cult beauty and I think that will do me for the pinks - people have a lot of choice with this colour story xx

Munira Siddiqi Not Tara, but I think you can with the Norvina palette. Tara showed a swatch comparison with the Norvina palette after her demo and she listed it as the closest in dupes. I think the Mini Love would be hard as the lid and outer corner shades are too vibrant and deep to get the Insolent Rose look. 😊

I have quite a few of Tom Fords palettes I got them all on sale never ever would I pay full price not one of them is worth 88$ ever! A lot of his palettes look the same except a couple that have pops of 1 shade I have those rose tones 💯 times over! Got all of those Tom Ford palettes in the white palette for 33$ last year on sale never pay full price there nice still not worth 88$ also no one ever mentions but Tom Fords shades aren’t inclusive of every skin tone there very sheer and won’t show up on darker skin tones I’m surprised how everyone bashes all of the other brands over this but never have I once heard it about Rom Ford!

As pretty as you made this look, I'm sorry I would return both palettes. I think Tom Ford ought to know that this release has been poorly reviewed. To have a 4 pan palette, priced at $88 and it only delivers 2 decent shades, is appalling! When you came back on camera after finishing your look, I immediately thought of Mary Quant (a fabulous designer and makeup creater in the 1960's). Your top and overall look could easily pass for one of her models. Gorgeous 😍🦋🌺🦋
I prefer this quad than the other one but why did he make the dark shade so weak and not pigmented enough to even use as a liner. Of late Tom Ford is messing up on his quad don't know what the hell he's doing with some of his formulas and the quads that are really good..he's getting rid of them like the Cocoa mirage for instance..he should have just left that one alone because it was his best matte quad. Not worth my money anymore I'll pass

It’s not Tom Ford doing this it’s Estée Lauder. They buy up amazing cosmetic companies and then ruin them. Tom Ford should never have sold out to them, so he’s got the cash and we get inferior products 😕 Cocoa mirage is my all time favourite eye palette too. The next best thing that come close is Chanel’s Claire obscure.

I totally respect this honest review. I don’t have Tom Ford quads and I’ll be passing on Desert Fox and Insolent Rose. I’ll get the Natasha Denona Mini Love palette instead of Insolent Rose.

Sleuth Tara 🕵🏻♀️ with the comparisons! I have saks discounted TF wet dry quads (nude dip and daydream) and that’s the only formula I’m interested in investing.
When you showed the Meteoric and First Frost palettes, I started thinking maybe I should purchase one of those! Especially the First Frost! I just realized that I have not yet purchased any of Tom Ford’s eyeshadow palettes! I really like the Insolent Rose color story, especially that gorgeous icy pink! That’s definitely the star of the show! The matte mauve shadow is really nice too, but I agree with you on that purple one. I know I used to think about getting his Seductive Rose palette, which I’m wondering how similar it is to this one. I also just purchased the ND Mini Love palette, and the colors are quite similar. If the First Frost palette is still available, I might go ahead and pick up that one!😝

Meteoric and first frost are two of my favorite TF quads and I 100% agree that the two glitters in meteoric are so similar but both soooo pretty, I can't complain & the mates in that palette are so creamy, dreamy, blendable! First frost- I mean.. THAT PINK is delicious & tom ford's wet/dry formula is A++. think I'll pass on insolent rose though... GREAT review!!!

Hi Tara, I saw Lexi Jong do a review of this palette and the deep color has a pink sparkle running through it, so if you put it on the lid it has a pink shift through it so its ment to be dusty like a 🌹!( PS i see the sparkle and pink flip in your swatches) 💗 💐 😍

One of the things that keeps stopping me from buying these quads (aside from the price) is that every color story I like feels like it is either all super dark or too light, that there needs to be a shade to add depth, or that all the shades just seem dark. This one looks like it might be good, though I’ve also been drooling over “honeymoon” for a while too. Edit: Nevermind, haha. Just saw your swatch comparisons and I definitely don’t need this. 😂😂😂

I’ve had one Tom Ford palette. I kept it forever and never even reached for it. I don’t know it was a waste of money for me. I kept it until I know it had to be expired (7 years) then trashed it. I think Sidney grace, Charlotte tilbury Natasha denona have the market cornered with their formulas.

It’s pretty but we have so many of these shades lately. I’ve ordered the pmg quad and I will order nd when it comes to cult beauty and I think that will do me for the pinks - people have a lot of choice with this colour story xx

Munira Siddiqi Not Tara, but I think you can with the Norvina palette. Tara showed a swatch comparison with the Norvina palette after her demo and she listed it as the closest in dupes. I think the Mini Love would be hard as the lid and outer corner shades are too vibrant and deep to get the Insolent Rose look. 😊

I have quite a few of Tom Fords palettes I got them all on sale never ever would I pay full price not one of them is worth 88$ ever! A lot of his palettes look the same except a couple that have pops of 1 shade I have those rose tones 💯 times over! Got all of those Tom Ford palettes in the white palette for 33$ last year on sale never pay full price there nice still not worth 88$ also no one ever mentions but Tom Fords shades aren’t inclusive of every skin tone there very sheer and won’t show up on darker skin tones I’m surprised how everyone bashes all of the other brands over this but never have I once heard it about Rom Ford!

It sure is.. I am to the point with Tom Ford quads, the only ones I continue to use and enjoy are his Wet Dry formulas (the ones with the TF embossing) the others are a waste of money🤷♀️ Thanks for watching, really appreciate your support 🙏💕

As pretty as you made this look, I'm sorry I would return both palettes. I think Tom Ford ought to know that this release has been poorly reviewed.
To have a 4 pan palette, priced at $88 and it only delivers 2 decent shades, is appalling!
When you came back on camera after finishing your look, I immediately thought of Mary Quant (a fabulous designer and makeup creater in the 1960's). Your top and overall look could easily pass for one of her models.

I prefer this quad than the other one but why did he make the dark shade so weak and not pigmented enough to even use as a liner. Of late Tom Ford is messing up on his quad don't know what the hell he's doing with some of his formulas and the quads that are really good..he's getting rid of them like the Cocoa mirage for instance..he should have just left that one alone because it was his best matte quad. Not worth my money anymore I'll pass

And I couldn't agree with you more... now Is the time to step up the game it's more important now than ever before. It’s not Tom Ford doing this it’s Estée Lauder. They buy up amazing cosmetic companies and then ruin them. Tom Ford should never have sold out to them, so he’s got the cash and we get inferior products 😕
Cocoa mirage is my all time favourite eye palette too. The next best thing that come close is Chanel’s Claire obscure.
