I've just picked up my F36 428i last month and I'm stoked to start building. Coming from a 2006 116i e87, it's a big leap up :D
Addressing your questions:
1. Why didn’t you buy an m3? This 328 is my daily driver. My weekend car, is in fact an m3. E90 alpine white. This project was never about building the most powerful car. My intention was to show others the potential of the f series chassis all around. The goal was never to make it the fastest. If I want to go fast, I drive my m3. There are many people out there that want advice on modifying their 320,328s etc. This channel has helped many with those options.
2. How much did it cost: This build is sponsored by many people/companies, it cost me my time and energy to make the content for you. Financially, it was not bad at all. There’s no way you’re buying an m3 for the amount I spent, I’ll tell you that.
3. Many of you are new here, if you decide to stick around, great! Thank you. I will be straight up with you though, I didn’t build the audience I have now by listening to judgements. I do me. So if this content ain’t your thing, scurry along. 😉

Hi. I just have one question. Did you do maping by you'r self? Is it just download stage maping from internet for you'r tipe of engine and upload in the car? Do you have to pay for those maps and how much horsepower did you get?
I have F30 lci B47 engine 320d 190bhp so just interested whats the deal with maping and you can go back to stock right?

Maybe not a brand new 19 plate m3 but definitely a second hand one including price of this car there is a lot of money in this ....that’s why you have not put the subtotal cost I work on BMW’s daily and you must be the only person who has gone to this length of detail ....but like you say your not paying for it and anyone in the right mind wouldn’t. you can get so much better for the money spent on this ......not saying its rubbish ....I love the styling of it looks great 👍 i read you have an m3 for the weekend .....but if you was not so lucky to own one and just used the 328 and spent all that money yourself on it then an actual m3 pulled up to the side you .....I’d be thinking I shoulda just spent my money on that ......I know I would

Great montage of the transformation. I myself am upgrading the interior and exterior for my 318 and having a blast doing it. I've tried to start recording some of the DIY however its such a pain with one person and the angles are sometimes hard to get. Keep up the good work!

But that`s a thing a ricer would do...
Carfreak36 I have to disagree on that one. An M3 comes stock with a quad exaust, so why not do it on a beautiful build like this?
@@WhundersAlternate Well maybe it's a personal thing, but I think that putting a quad tip exhaust on a non M car would be "pretentious", buuuut on a heavily tuned one I could live with it, it's just not for me personally, maybe 'cause where I live people tend to put fake exhausts on their cars, that's why.. And I like subtle changes more, maybe a two tip exhaust with one on each side?

I think x5 more than cost of car, but we have people who can buy car for 50k euro and people who buys car for 10k euro and spend 40k for mods

Mitchell Kellerman very true. But the presence of an m car and the affect it’s presence had in people is unparalleled. The beauty behind the engineering and and math behind body work is just perfect. You don’t judge a book by its cover. Inside an m is something purely special. And of course I appreciate the dedication behind his car. Just hearing 328i as a bass kinda sets the bar low. All in all it’s all an opinion and I appreciate your comment.
If the car was not sponsored by multiple companies, then yes...it would probably be in the ballpark of a 340i. Depending on which M3 you are referring to, maybe.
