I did the same with the activity book for Story of the World. I bought it hard copy this last year and used so little of it that this time I purchased the PDF because It's great to print and reprint the maps as quiz work. I had a printer problem... then I re-enacted the scene from "Office Space" and my husband happily bought me a new one lol

From a person whose printer acts similarly - If you use network printing try using the cord directly attached to your computer. A $5 cord from Amazon fixed years of frustration with my Epson Ecotank.
Printer issues are the worst! Mine likes to get stuck on”spoiling” and at that point I’m done for the day😮💨😂
I've had the same issue with my printer. I always print in blocks of like 40 or 50 pages in case it stops. Just make sure you always print an even number of pages at a time so the double sided printing doesn't get messed up. I found that it would usually happen if my computer screen went to sleep or someone used our microwave 😩
The microwave?! Yes, smaller amounts usually work well. Luckily it all worked out and I am done printing for a while!
@@thishouseofwalls Yah, apparently having your wifi router located right next to your microwave isn't recommended. Live and learn.
I would highly suggest eBay for used books. A lot of the used book stores are there already, so it's a one-stop shop. There are lots of deals as well.
Next time you need to print one sided and you have blank pages, see if your printer has an option for only printing odd pages or even pages. You know the section where you can tell it to only print page 2 or print pages 3-38. My printer has those options. That way you aren't wasting paper.

I just bought Beowulf and they definitely offer the student book in small sections 😊 4 Quarters I believe

We have that printer as well and it ALWAYS gets paper jams when printing double sided. I could t stand it and got the bigger version which works much better.

I just bought Beowolfs Grammar and there was one file with the student book as one and 4 other files with it split into quarters.
I must have saved it wrong or something.

I never print the whole year upfront because we often change curriculum and then it's a waste
That's a good idea but I worry that I will procrastinate and be rushing to print 5 minutes before a lesson. Haha!
Oh also printers do need updates from time check their website
It was updated. My husband had been messing with the wifi so I needed to set it up again.
Sorry to spam just trying to help you out, when I have printer issues I just yell for my husband… I don’t even try to fix it 😂😂😂
When you print if it stops can’t you just cancel the printing then pick up where it left off? ie last page printed was 88 you print on 89 through the end?
