  • Ahoy,
    Many of you have asked to show how we build our new Hard Dodger. In this episode you'll get the answer to all your questions..
    See how we decided on a form!
    See how we built it!
    See how we love it!
    It's the best dodger ever and we couldn't be any happier with it. We actually have no idea how we sailed so long without it..
    It changed the way we live on ZERO so much to the better it was totally worth all the effort to create it..
    Sit back, relax and enjoy.
    Aloha

    • @milolabrett6549
      @milolabrett6549 Před 3 lety

      @@sailingZERO There was two identical Hudson's that sailed together.I was on Asterix and the other vessel was Idefix. I met up with them in Eilat Israel in their last leg of a 3 year voyage from Hong Kong, the captains were from Marseille.They did diving excursions with mostly French National clients. Our first destination down the Gulf of Aqaba was Sharm El Sheikh, which at the time 1983 was a tiny Navel outpost not really even a village. Amazing diving snorkelling and fishing, a Sinai Peninsula secret destination. Amazing diving snorkelling and fishing, it was a Bedouins paradise which is unrecognizable today from then. We continued through the Suez, which is a very fascinating passage and into the Mediterranean and sailed through out the South Eastern Greek Islands. We were caught in a terrific storm and blew down to Heraklion Crete and then discovered that one of the engine mounts had cracked. So your video on the engine mounts rang Big Bells with me. Your change out is far more superior than the originals. Thank you for your reply, where are you now?
