The older generation thinks that the younger generation is lazy because they aren't doing the same things at the same rate as the older generation (getting well paying jobs, going to college, buying houses, and starting a family). However, the older generation had it much easier than them. So the song uses a comparison between two types of birds, a crow tit (which is a very small bird with tiny legs, think a ball of feathers with a beak, it's adorable) and a stork (obviously long legs). So Yoongi (the one who said that line) is asking the older generation how they expect him to achieve the same things as them when he has such a great disadvantage. You should check out more of them! Whether it’s social injustice, the pressure to”succeed, based on their people’s standards or the really deep stuff based of the teachings of psychoanalyst Carl Jung, mythology, and literature, there’s always another layer of meaning. Don’t listen to Map of the Soul 7, until you’re ready to go deeper. The music can be appreciated just for the dancing or fashion, but you’ll be missing out on a lot. Just my opinion.
