sienna for your info san remo is the oldest song competition and the emmy and eurovision is taken from san remo. it was formed in 1950s.

sienna i guess you didnt hear last years winners like manisken , because italy has many rock bands VASCO ROSSI which by the way broke the world record of paying people to his concert one concert like over 225,000 people. check out IRAMA my favourite from san remo
@@siennaxeurovision he is a god of music . Whenever madona or bruce Springsteen plays in europe they make sure vasco is not playing at the same time according to their interview in the past they are fans too. Check out the concert singing C'e chi dice no the live version

Hey Sienna, y'know the idea of reacting to the Top 2 from each country is fantastic! - I don't think anyone else does that as their "thing" on the ESC reactor circuit so you found yourself a niche. What everyone will want to know, of course, is which song you would have chosen out of the two, so please, please, let us know!
There may be 41 countries but not ALL have national selections - some just choose one song internally, but that changes with every country year by year. This year we have 24 national selections, 13 internally selected songs and 4 countries who have not disclosed their selection process so far - so don't worry, you won't have 82 reactions to do!
Wiwibloggs (and other sites) are helpful and have a calendar of when national finals are taking place. So far for 2022, we have 9 confirmed selections: Albania, Czech Republic, Ireland, Israel, Italy and Spain from national finals - and Bulgaria, Moldova and North Macedonia with internally selected songs - they are the ones to catch up on.
This weekend, February 12th, we have the national finals of Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. From thereon, just follow the calendar and you just are as far ahead as everyone else!
I really love how much effort you put into your reactions Sienna - researching lyrics and background to the artists etc. You absolutely undermine the stereotype of Americans not being open to cultures outside their own but hey, I have to say, my two favorite ESC reactors on CZcams are both American - Jordan Davies and Alesia Michelle.
