    Impossible to present chord soloing better than how Keith did it here. Gradually, little by little, in no more than 10 - 15 minutes, we get the skinny on how to really see chords when soloing and, as Keith says, now we simply can't miss it. Perfect! This lesson alone can save people years of struggling.

    I'm thankful of this man. I stumbled upon his old blues lesson video many years ago and he was way too young then. But it helped me a lot starting off my blues playing ability. Now I play blues with ease. Great teacher. God bless. From the Philippines.

    I love this guy ,I haven’t been able to find his stuff on CZcams until recently but I have a whole lot of his VHS tapes and learned a whole lot from him through these videos. I find he goes even in more depth but makes it understandable to the average human. He also explains terms that are musical that someone who has never had any training in music can understand so I appreciate the videos immensely. thanks again.

    Keith is such a great teacher. I tought myself using one of his books and when I eventually went to take lessons with a guitar instructor he didn't dare team me up with any of his other students that had been playing well longer than me. The way Keith covers the basics is about as good as it gets.

    Keith is amazing, not many people are as good technically and if they are, they don't have the ability to convey the information like Keith. I'd love to see the into and outro of the Rocken the Blues DVD. That would be awesome, I've got about 80% of it figured out but some of the chord parts are a little tough. Thanks!!!

    Great Lesson on chord soloing! This is something I have been wanting to try for a while. I don't know if you have any lessons on how you get the "Blues tone" from your guitar and amp. I have been trying to replicate that tone but I don't know what to set my amp adjustments or the setting on my guitar. Can you do a lesson on that?

    Great playing here . Do your lessons apply only for electric guitar work ?
    I am a beginner, at 61yr., and I only have an acoustic guitar.
    Or can you suggest a great teacher for acoustic blues ?
    Thanks , I enjoy listening to your playing, you seem to not overplay and have great feeling with fewer notes.! -don

    • @rainchaser5389
      @rainchaser5389 Před 2 lety

      I hope you’re still playing. An acoustic guitar has bigger gauge strings, so it’s a bit harder to bend. But you can play this on acoustic as well. 🎼

    If you focus on connecting the chords chromatically with each of the single notes of the chord, you also get nice chord melody. Another idea is to apply the same triad concept across lower string sets too... opens up a lot possibilities for rhythm and lead
