Goodnight, Ned!
Goodnight, Y.
Good night Ned! Thanks for the lesson- 🐢

nailed it! "good night ned!"
This is the best guitar tutorial ever. Clint impression, no 15 min of explanation just chord illustrations. That’s all anyone wants is the chords.
Thanks man
G'night Ned! Wow, this was BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you SO much, one of the best songs ever... you really honored it.
That was awesome. Goodnight Ned.
Fuck yeah!! Awesome dude. Very cool
Wonderful. Thank you so much! My newborn loves it when I sing this to her and I've been wanting to introduce the guitar.
Aw. You're very welcome! :)
Thank you for this! Can’t wait to play it around the campfire
Have fun dude!
you are an answer to prayer. I grew up on three amigos but the chords I always saw on this song looked too hard for me to learn. I think with some practice I can hopefully get this campfire ready.
it's much easier than it looks! set aside a few hours and I'm sure you'll smash it!
@@Reagold108 i am about there. I have ignored the walk up but I plan on adding it in last
I practiced along with this video for the better part of 2 hours so I could record a video for my friend. Thank you for making this.
You're very welcome! :)
Nail it! Thank you for the chords~
Love it...thanks for posting!
The best tutorial, performance; so perfect. Thankya', howdy :)
MAGICAL!!!
incredible. Absolutely love it!
Cheers dude!
WOW THAT WAS PERFECT!!! 👍👍
Love your newest version!!! Love playing along with it and your lesson was extremely helpful.
Am a 61 year old dad who played every day but stopped suddenly (new daughter) and your lesson actually was one of the first pieces that helped me start playing again.
I actually heard Blue Shadows on the Trail on Family Guy, then Three Amigo's, then Disney! Your rendition was right on and in the same key and tuning (non of those recordings could brag not surviving the 16 to 20 bit transfer rate) of those versions.
Thanks so much, Rich.. reading this put a big smile on my face! Congrats on the new daughter! And on picking up the guitar again! God bless! :)
Been trying to figure this out for 20years just couldn't pick some of these chords out, so thank you xx
Happy to help! :)
Thanks again for the show n tell.
this is great! thanks for making this!
Glad you liked it! :)

Thank you, the one strum was so clever, it allow you to stay focus on the left hand. Cheers
@@japanaircarrier1394 ok, don’t really understand the comment.
I can play as a good intermediate. There are chords here I don’t know ( I don’t know chords by name ) right away. I’ve diagrammed this song, every chord with no time signature or rhythm prompts. By following as you play it through I can stay on track, going between my/ your diagrams. Yours’ is one of the best ways I’ve found for learning. The goal is in sight.. Takes practice and more practice. Thanks Muncle.
Thank you so much!
You're welcome! :)
I'm a new fan of yours 😅🎶
I’m just here for three amigos
Me too...
"Goodnight Ned"
Whole thing is great but that intro, perfect
Gracias amigo
This is awesome! My only struggle is that I’m trying to learn it a half key down like they play it in the movie. Mainly because it suits my voice better. But I can’t find anyone that has that version. So till then I’ll be using this video, just with the volume down.
Thanks bro!
No problem!
Was that Ronnie in the beginning? Such an underrated song. Also thank you for the tutorial, it was very informative.
It was! I agree. It's one of my favourites. And you're welcome.
Freaking awesome. Is there anywhere to find the chords written out?
Yes - guitar chords app
Wonderful! I have been trying to figure out how to play this song. Most chords online are over complicated. This is spot on. Thank you for posting this.
was dude just playing metallica at the beginning?
Mr. M. Wonderful lesson. Easy to follow. Entertaining, too. Thanks for submitting. A joy for everyone wanting to learn this rather complex song. Just one mistake. The 7b5 chords you post are not 7b5 chords at all but minor 7th chords. For example, take the chord that you post B7b5. For it to be a truly B7 flatted fifth chord, it would need the F note in the chord. F# is the true fifth note of a B chord. F would be the flatted 5th. There is no F note in that chord. In fact, there is no 5th note at all. Just the Root note B, the major 3rd note D# and the minor 7th note A. All of the posted 7b5 chords are simply minor 7th chords (w/o a fifth note) which I think is what R Newman had in mind when he wrote the song. But Hey, but it really sounds great!! G'Day.
A 7b5, is really a 7th chord that is altered. There is no specific alteration written on the chord chart for the musicians at the time of performance.
In this case you, can fret the b5 with your thumb on the Sixth string.
Play the barre chord, Root on the Fifth string in the shape of 13th chord, Root on the Fourth string.
Or play the 7th chord with the b5 implied, as maestro has written.
Thanks for taking the time to point that out, glad you got something out of it. I actually play by ear.. as I was never one for theory.. so I listen, figure out which fingers should be where, and rely on an app to tell me what the chords are lol.
Needs a few tweeks here and there but definelty a useful tool. Id look at the intro vamp and the 3 Amigos version. Works great with the guitar! If it wasn't for you, Id never of cut my teeth on this gem, so thank you!
Not sure what you mean with 'intro vamp'. But anyway, you're welcome, thanks! :)
The pub hasn't hurt the pipes a bit mate, good job.
Cheers bud! 👍
Is this the same opening guitar riff as the beginning of “I don’t want to set the world on fire”?
Good observation. Very similar isn't it?
@@MrMunclequite similar! Hope all is well with you ❤
What was the intro song?
Btw thanks a bunch for this video!
Ronnie by Metallica to my ears 😉
Guess I have homework now.
Was that a bit of Ronnie at the start 👀
Is this your personal rendition? Just felt something was different. Maybe its the guitar. Made it sound like a 12 string almost
Yeah man.. On the original soundtrack, the guitar gets buried under strings and bass, so I had to work out the chords myself. :)
Umm 🤔 not bad 😋👍🏼
😅😅 Thanks!
I think it sounds better on the Yamaha
It's actually the same guitar, it sounds different because the camera is where the mic should be. :)
You're a badass MF
Hearing this song sung, it reminds me of Vince Neil; I can only imagine how this would have sounded in Motley Crue covered this song. ; )
LOL xD
