I like this boat for many reasons first of all the price this may be one of the few boats I could afford and the only one that gives you fishing capabilities, as well as cooking & sleeping amenities while delivering performance ! Now I hope Cutwater is listening I wish all your other boats were like this like the 28, see one thing that ruins it for me is the layout in the helm the helm seat being shared with the dinette switch it around where the helm seat is on top of the fridge not that you need to you have a 28 foot boat, you have too much counter space use that space and consolidate the galley or put galley down a 1 burner (electric flush mount) microwave and sink with fridge like everybody else. You have such great boats and the wood work and detail fit and finish. You should consider redesigning the interior space. Just my opinion. Take care.

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out the C242 Video and appreciate your comments. Cutwater works hard to meet a wide variety of desires. The newer models are reaching cruisers and fishing lovers alike. Our current 28 has been our most popular diesel model due to it's trailering ability. There is a very good chance we will soon see changes to the 28 model that will satisfy the fishing lovers as well as the cruisers.

For future reference, DO NOT put that background music in! I wanted to hear what you had to say but I had to turn the sound off because of, you guessed it, that insufferable background music.
Awesome boat. But more attention needs to be paid to the kitchen area and bathroom. I don't need 2 indoor tables and i feel that room could be better utilized.

You do realize that that area is the berth (bed), and that the table is the secondary use for that space, right?
