Nog een nummer van Buddy Holly van onze Cd Memories uit 2008 “Crying, waiting, hoping”. Aan de liedjes op deze Cd uit de jaren 60 heeft iedereen wel zo zijn herinnering.Toen ik de hoes van deze Cd ontwierp kwamen voor mij dubbele herinneringen. Het koste me weinig moeite om de hoes vorm te geven. Zoals de ingelijste foto van The Locomotions van het eerste uur, hangend aan de muur van de ouderlijke woning. De eerste elektrische gitaar (prijs 125 gulden) uit de advertenties van de radiogids en de muziekparade, gekocht met financiële hulp van mijn ouders. En om de gitaar te versterken moest de radio mee naar de repetitie ruimte.
Another Buddy Holly song from our 2008 CD Memories “Crying, waiting, hoping”. Everyone has their own memories of the songs on this CD from the 60s. When I designed the cover of this CD, I had double memories. It took me little effort to shape the cover. Like the framed photo of The Locomotions from the very beginning, hanging on the wall of the parental home. The first electric guitar (price 125 guilders) from the advertisements of the radio guide and the music parade, purchased with financial help from my parents. And to amplify the guitar, the radio had to be taken to the rehearsal room
Ein weiterer Buddy-Holly-song aus unserer 2008er CD Memories „Crying, waiting, hoping“. Jeder hat seine eigenen erinnerungen an die lieder dieser CD aus den 60er Jahren. Als ich das cover dieser CD gestaltete, hatte ich doppelte erinnerungen. Es hat mich wenig mühe gekostet, das cover zu formen. Wie das gerahmte foto von The Locomotions von anfang an, das an der Wand des elternhauses hängt. Die erste electric gitarre (Preis 125 Gulden) aus den anzeigen der radiozeitschrift und der musikparade, angeschafft mit finanzieller hilfe meiner eltern. und um die gitarre zu verstärken, musste das radio mit in den proberaum.
