I (Tubes) took on the legend and unreal golfer Jimmy Bullard at the the amazing wisley golf club !! I’m off the front tees, Jim off the back (they are miles apart !!!)

Always love it when the bulldog is on the channel. Would be great for him to join you boys on a golf trip abroad in the summer 👌🏼 just started doing aim point myself, decided to use this winter to improve my putting so had a few lessons tuning my stroke and learning aim point 👍🏼

Great content love it when jimmys on top banter and always good to watch a good player 😊 if I’m playing a match against somebody and they gimme a putt I’ll like to tap them in still to have the confidence of seeing the ball going in the hole so when I need to hole one I feel confident on it

Love Jim giving the advice. He’s so right about strike.. Strike is king… Would love to see Tubes’ right hand grip come over a touch. Very strong at the minute which usually means left but looks as though you compensate for it by having the hands forward at impact, making it go right.

I wouldn’t take his advice on it. He was mostly talking nonsense. Tubes needs to go to a pro who understands the mechanics and feel of a golf swing.
@@davidgraham8058 Jim is a lower handicap than most club pros lol he knows a thing or two and wasn’t really talking nonsense here whatsoever
@@oppboy3344He clearly doesn’t know much about the golf swing. He said at one point that Tubes needs to learn to make the club head perpendicular when hitting the ball (or something to that effect). No good player hits the ball like that. Hands always lead to create shaft lean and compression.
In any case, it doesn’t matter how good you are at the game, teaching it is completely different. I’m off +2 and my current coach doesn’t even play the game. But he has a deep understanding of athletic movement and mechanics, so he can teach.
@@davidgraham8058 sure he was just getting at tubes squaring off the club face for a cleaning connection. You have a golf coach who doesn’t play golf? Not even possible lol
@@oppboy3344 Tubes problem is an early extension that can only be fixed by changing his perspective of what a golf swing is.
Why would you need to be a good golfer to teach someone else how to swing a club? It’s a perfectly natural movement. There’s nothing complicated about it. It’s as natural as throwing a ball - but you don’t go to the best ball thrower in the town to teach you how to throw a ball. Anyone who understands the natural flow of movement can teach it.
