If you do at some point try the mesh paper, like 3m Xtract Cubitron (highly recommended) be sure to add a pad saver, otherwise you run the risk of destroying the existing sander pad.
Thank you for the advice. I would prefer to use the regular cubitron 2 paper instead of the xtract but it's over double the cost. I'm sure both are 100% worth it. I'm just worried about the durability of the Xtract. I do alot of rougher sanding
@@bushrob411 I was concerned about using it with really rough stock as well. I haven’t really used it enough yet to know how it will hold up to that situation.
