This song is so poignant now that Barry is literally the only one left alive. The line, "Somehow I always end up alone", really gets me every time I listen.
So poignant.
Very sad😢miss the twins so much
@@descendantoffools9767 You nailed it. I only would like to add that Robin's voice in this song sounds like a silver flute.
Yes, you describe it perfectly! I was going to say it that sounds like a pure bell or chime, but your description is much better.
Michael Jackson his old music was like motown
Robin absolutely makes this song. Without Robin singing the chorus, this song does not feel like it feels. I loved Robin’s voice in here.
I agree
I agree! I believe this is the track that brings out Robin's best vocal talent!!
Absolutely!!
You are so right! He is great!
You are soooo right. Barry we always know is amazing…but Robin is equally talented and it’s nice to hear the different sound
There is nothing to compare The BeeGees to. They will always stand high and above the rest. For me, their songs, talent, vocals and vibes are not even describable. Voices of Angels and music that is timeless.
YES. YES. YES. A THOUSAND TIMES, YES.
I began crying about halfway through the song. Together they sang like angels. We have lost two of them and only one is left. Such an emotional moment for me.
Jay, NEVER apologize for your feelings about The Bee Gees!! It is nice to see you and Amber appreciating the music I grew up on!!
It’s still sad to me Barry lost all of his brothers before their time! I think you’d love their “Broken Hearts” documentary which opens with Barry reminiscing and talking about being the last man standing. They had such an amazing career and Barry carries on!
Love the Bee Gees. But Robins voice is something else. As soon as he comes in on any song, it just takes it to another dimension.
Ethereal!❤
Yes! Robin's voice has a touch of pathos in it more than Barry. I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices that. Phenomenal emotion in his voice.
Robin's voice in this song is like placing the cherry on top of whipped cream on a hot fudge sundae. He is STUNNING in this adding his vocals that rise up and add to the emotional pull of the lyrics. Absolutely addictive song.
I saw them live 20 years ago when they performed this song and I’ll tell you one thing this song sounded exactly like it did in studios. Barry’s voice was a little out of sync from the recording studio version but still sounded very good, but when Robin started singing! Holy shit that was just unbelievable how good he sounded. Just unbelievable talent this group was. Robin’s voice was just on a whole different level
I haven't heard this song before. It's definitely hitting me in the feels, with Barry singing he doesn't want to be alone here with his brothers, cut with all of this old footage, and now knowing he's having to go on without them. 💔
Same! I don't remeber this song, but with Barry being the only one still with us, it's very surreal that he's the one that sings the line "I don't wanna be alone."
This song came out in the late 90s! Not the 70s when they released most of their hits
Same here! I have never heard this one.. and I've been loving these guys since the 70s. Thanks, RobSquad 💞
I like this song because Robin gets to share the lead singing with Barry. They have another song where Barry gives Robin the whole Chorus, it's called "For Whom The Bell Tolls".
If you want to see the three of them singing together in 1963, check out " Bee Gees medley 1963". So cool to see the twins when they were so young!
You should watch a few of the.. Barry Gibb interviews.. very insightful..
I know you've covered the BeeGees a lot, I just wish you would get in the way-back machine and give a listen to their great ballads, like Words, I've Gotta Get a Message To You, New York Mining Disaster, To Love Somebody, and Massachusetts. They all have a lot of heavy base and violins. 👍👍😊😊
Great reaction 👍👍
YES!!!
I've been waiting for that to happen for a very long time, and I totally agree with your list of possibilities. Anyone who hasn't heard the earliest Bee Gee tunes still hasn't heard the "complete" Bee Gees.
Yes, yes, yes!!! I agree! And some of their stuff from the 90's even.
Also "I Started a Joke". I've suggested all these songs from the late 60s, a few times. At least today's song has Robin sharing vocals. He has the most angelic voice of all the brothers
I almost forgot 'Run to Me'... I'm sure I'm forgetting others too.
And isn't Rob's voice just incredible when he is soloing on the chorus??
Absolutely beautiful!
Robin Gibb was one of the finest voices of his generation!
@@queenslanddiva - He was called "The Songbird" and "The Pavarotti of Pop". Critics and his peers said he had the best white soul voice of his generation.
So pure and beautiful. LOve it!
I’ve never heard his voice alone. Wow, great voice.
This is definitely one of my favorite Bee Gees tunes. I think you'll like You Win Again, too.
Yes, there are Bee Gees haters, but I believe there are more of us that love their music and talents. And probably a few who consider them a guilty pleasure. ☺
I saw so many comments and so many haters from the early and mainly disco time turned and like or love them now. Many hated them bc it was uncool for young guys and bc. almost all girls loved them!
You win again is my favourite beegees song ❤️
I'm definitely a Robin lover, but not a disco fan! Too much falsetto for my ears.
@@susanhunter7124 I get it. Try their earlier stuff before disco. No falsettos!
@@Ozefan2580 I have listened to all of their songs millions of times. I love Robin! He is the one that got me on the Bee Gees train. I'm a diehard fan. I'm retired, and listen to Robin lead, and solo songs daily. I cannot get enough of Robin. I do listen to various artists, too.
.
I love how Barry drops out of the falsetto to sing the line "and i don't wanna be alone' = i love his normal voice so much.
Barry and Robin's equally beautiful but so differently unique tones and Maurice's gorgeous and flawless harmonies.
The vocal perfection that was the Bee Gees.
The spirit of the Bee Gees is like being adopted by the Gibb family. They have always been so approachable...that is their charm. Talent overload too.
Oh gosh...you HAVE GOT to PLEASE listen to their earlier songs, prior to the Disco phase. To love somebody, Massachusetts, Words, Lonely Days, Run to me. Y'all will be blown away. (I actually prefer their earlier music as opposed to the Disco era...just my personal taste) Anway...so glad you reacted to Alone... one of my top faves that they have done.
Jay/Amber, you'll love their "To Love Somebody", "I've Gotta Get a Message to You" and "I Started A Joke" !!!
They have done Stayin' Alive about a year ago. Check their videos. I can't remember about the other one.
@@ajruther67 I do check, its not on CZcams. Videos get taken down sometimes.
@@surlechapeau
Unfortunately they do get taken down sometimes. I do know they did react to it over a year ago. It was their 2nd or 3rd reaction to the Bee Gees.
@@ajruther67 thank you
I started a joke is sung by Robin. His voice is so much different than Barrys. Beautiful song.
I’ve always loved The Bee Gees I’m 65 and hope to hear them in Heaven one day ♥️♥️♥️
Guy's don't be ashamed to love the BeeGees, what's not to love. Please please go back before the Disco era and react to some of their early stuff, such as, Words, I Started a Joke and Massachusetts I think you will love this era as well. They have been singing together since they were young kids in Australia.
67 year old lady here, been listening to them since I can't remember when, maybe I was 10, I had 2 older brothers that were into music. They are the Best! I saw them in 1975, in a small concert hall, they were better in person.
Their disco era was something they sure didn’t expect. Saturday Night Fever started that. I heard Barry in an interview saying that they were working on an album when Robert Stigwood approached them saying he needed songs for a movie he was doing. The brothers presented to him the songs they were working on and the rest is history. Crazy
Yay Bee Gees!!! On worldwide radio, a Bee Gees song is played every 20 seconds. 😁😘❤️
Hi Sherri, I have been asking so much for Robin's I Started a joke, but not the early version because i felt they sang better when they were older.
And on just American radio, a Fleetwood Mac song is played every *two* seconds. I don't know if that's true or not, it just seems like it. 😄
Nice hearing the Bee Gees again, but you have never played any of their earlier songs. Massachusetts, I Started a Joke, Lonely Days etc, etc, etc, Their pre falsetto songs would be something new for you. Even hearing Robin and Maurice singing lead.
…and “New York Mining Disaster 1941” their 1st ever song released in the US
Run to Me
This is from their next to last album "Still Waters" (1997). They released one more album "This is Where I Came From" (2001) before Maurice died in 2003. Very sad. He was only 53.
"This Is Where I Came In", I'm pretty sure it's called
"For whom the bell tolls" is a great one from their later years that highlights the fullness of Robin's voice.
FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS! You won't believe what you're missing with Robin!
❤ definitely
I am surprised that you did not mention Robin's solo voice in the chorus. You really need to hear their EARLY songs. Start with "I STARTED A JOKE" and "MASSACHUSETTS" both from 1968, a couple of the many songs where Robin Gibb is the lead vocal. His voice is so special and mesmerizing! Once you hear more of them singing separately, you will be able to hear each of them distinctly when they are harmonizing together! Great reaction again, thanks 😊.
Yes! Thank you. The Bee Gees are SO much more than Barry's falsetto and the late 70s Saturday Night Fever era.
I love love Robins beautiful voice!
Couldn't agree more
They only like Barry and Andy.
they didn’t hear it because they busy talking each time Robins solo comes around …. these two are too into not hearing what they should be reacting to
I love anything the Bee Gees sing 🎶🎶🎶💙💙💙
You need to do "You Win Again" Princess Diana's favourite song of theirs
I just recently found a video of them performing You Win Again in front of a (I think) German audience and I've literally watched it everyday since. Seeing Barry do some hip wiggling I swear he looks so much like Andy in this video! Just love it!
@@Pushindazees yes I too love it. I remember when they first started out singing in the late 60s.
As a 64 year old Bee Gees fan , I have seen them at their height of fame in 1979, when almost ever hour on the radio there was another Bee Gees song playing to the awful , hate filled disco back lash days, where their records were burned and they were banned from radio stations. It is heart warming to know that young people today, appreciate their talent. I dont believe you guys have done STAYIN ALIVE yet, which is their biggest hit. It is from the soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever..
The saying goes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Maybe it should be, parody is the sincerest form of flattery. If you put it that way, "Stayin' Alive" is one of the greatest hits of all time! What a great song. And listening to this one, so many years later, ... such nostalgia they put into it. I was an undergrad in '79, listening to the local LA rock station in my dorm room. I think maybe I even owned a copy of the SNF sound track once, but it fell behind the mini-fridge and kind of melted a little.
@@newmoon766 thanks for the reply, how lucky you were to be in LA in 79!!!
@@kenpaden Hi. I always find it kind of charming when younger people who react to "classic rock" express regret that they weren't around back then. Who knew at the time? Everyone always takes everything for granted at the time they're experiencing it, I suppose. :)
@@newmoon766 Pretty sure Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion aren't producing music that decades from now people will wish they had been around for.
@@merlball8520 Hi. Pretty sure you're right about that. (Do they exist, because I'm pretty sure you're pulling my leg. ;))
Robin's solo has such an emotional quality that goes to the heart. Powerful all the way around!
Celine Dion and the Bee Gees singing Immortality.
Written by the Bee Gees is also amazing to hear…
Yay! Another Bee Gees reaction! They were and are simply the best. I’m still hoping you’ll react to their “Fanny, Be Tender (With My Love)”. To me, it’s a masterpiece. I’ve heard that it was their mom’s favorite song of theirs. You’ll love it. Trust me. Here’s the link: czcams.com/video/xgDbE6WOyws/video.html
P.S. I also think you’d love “Love So Right”. Chock full of Barry and that incredible falsetto of his. 😊
YESSSS... I love that song so much! React to it, J & Amber!
That is my favorite song by them please react to it.
Yess!! For sure!
I have been waiting and waiting for them to react to "Fanny Be Tender." They MUST check that one out. I don't think they've done "I Started a Joke" or "Run to Me," either.
Yes!!! My favorite too
I’m 75 years old and will never stop listening to The Bee Gees, brings back so many great memories, love these guys forever
Not enough is said about how the brothers were in their fourth decade of writing great songs here. They’re just geniuses at the main aim of pop music - writing killer songs. We only wish it had could have lasted even longer. Robin absolutely kills the chorus. I always recall hearing this during breakfast in a hotel in Munich. The radio was on to avoid the awkwardness of random strangers collecting their food but this song stood out and took me back to that time when the Bee Gees were everywhere, all the time. They’re truly the best songwriters outside of Paul & John.
This song is just beautiful, yet so sad, cos of course Barry is all alone. But you're right Jay, The Bee Gees are THE band. They've had a hit in nearly (if not every) decade since the 60s. Now that's something. 💔❤💔
Robin’s voice is featured in this song and his vibrato is so amazing and adds so much emotion! The full harmony takes me to a different place of love, joy and peace and makes me smile!
Thanks for the reaction!
Love you guys!❤
The Bee Gees! That's always a good idea. I love their disco songs AND older AND newer songs! Their songs have a magical formula that you just have to like. Another vote for "I Started a Joke" and "Massachusetts".
Hopefully from the 1989 Melbourne tour - great versions of both songs. 😁😁
@@susieq9801 the best versions ❤
Not as a reaction, just as fans, you two should watch BeeGees One Night Only. Great concert!! You’ll love it!!
I prefer the Melbourne 1989. Younger and better voices. More interaction between the brothers.
@@susieq9801 Yea, that was very good!! I just figured Alone is on the One Night Only show.
The saddest thing I have ever heard was Barry Gibb saying in an interview following Robin’s death, that when all 3 of his brothers died he was not in speaking terms with them. One of his biggest regrets. As a huge BeeGees fan it was so sad.😢
They had a huge career even before disco. Starting in the 60's.
Run To Me
Massachusetts
New York Mining Disaster 1941
To Love Somebody
I Can't See Nobody
Words
I've Gotta Get A Message To You
Please react to “I Started A Joke” or “Massachusetts” just give us a reaction of a Bee Gees songs led by Robin, he also has a great voice.
The best voice but that's just my opinion. All three had great voices.
I agree that Robin has the most beautiful voice. Please listen to Robin leads!
This is such a beautiful video for a beautiful song. The clips from the past and the home movies (Andy!🥰) just melt my heart. Thanks for this!
The Bee Gees had a ton of hits in the 1960's that you would love. New York Mining Disaster, To Love Somebody, Massachusetts, Words, I've Gotta Get a Message to You, and I Started a Joke to name a few. Their harmonies on their song Odessa (City on the Black Sea) would give you chills. It's from the psychedelic era and the lyrics are a little quirky.
yes .... ODESSA
inferior compared to their '70s heyday
What a great song! You really have to react to their 60’s songs, like To love somebody, How do you mend a broken heart etc… their 90’s songs like For whom the bell tolls, You win again etc… all great songs. Great reaction like always, thank you for The Bee Gees reaction. What a treat! ❤️
BeeGees singing How Can You Mend A Broken Heart & Fanny (Be Tender With My Love)
The Bee Gees are a true force of nature!! Their vocals and song writing ability are truly super human!!
Robins vibrato voice on the chorus is sent from the heavens, he has taken the lead on a few of their tracks over the years which you should check out.
'I Started a Joke' would knock you'd socks off!!!
I think this group speaks volumes about the timelessness of their music and superb harmonies, that you younger generations can appreciate them. Thank you for listening to this song, it’s one of my favorites. Much respect to you both and The BeeGees! ❤😊
Their voices are so good you don't want the song to end.
So many great tunes to pick from the legendary Bee Gees. Run To Me and For Whom The Bell Tolls are just 2 of my favourites ❤️
Run To Me is a good song. Don’t know the other one.
@@leetroy3129 it’s like Alone... a more recent tune... all three sing.. but Robin has a really good part...
Only discovered 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' in the past year... What an absolute gem it is! Barry fans still get their falsetto and Robin is allowed to shine again with the shared vocals.
@@joyglasspool7493 There is also one called Wedding Day, with the shared vocal leads of Barry & Robin... it was off of their last album, I think... I don’t remember if there was a falsetto.... everybody has a different theory... mine is .. it was the 90s... they’d had hits, (and they (fact) considered themselves songwriters foremost.. they’d had disco and Barry almost always the only solo voice on the hits (after Nights on Broadway). Now they had the freedom for flexibility... re enter Robin’s sing specialties.. still have Barry’s stuff, and the harmonies... = awesome
* Songwriting is where the royalties are the best
Robin's sweet voice gets highlighted in this song, which brings the emotional vibe.
I do love me some Bee Gees music. One of the best groups ever with so many great songs. 💜🇨🇦
I have to admit I thought I heard every Bee Gee song there was, lol. A great reaction would be "Closer Than Close". Maurice sings lead and it's beautiful.
Bee Gees, one of a kind. Stunning ! music legends
Absolutely adore this song. And I love Robins voice overall. So sad that only Barry is left. 😢❤🎼
The Bee Gees! They are universally loved. Their wonderful songs are endless! Their voices alone, or together are majestic!
Someday you will react to Words by the Bee Gees and I will finally stop asking. 🙂
Oh, and you said they are not three better voices that go together. I would challenge you to listen to Yes it Is by the Beatles.
You two do not know how much you listening and appreciating The Bee Gees touches me and means to me. I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face because my greatest wish has always been to meet them and now it's down to just Barry. I know if I ever meet him, it will be pure embarrassment for him and anyone around, lol. I doubt I'll be able to say a word for the sobs. I'm 57 and have loved The Bee Gees every minute since I was 11 years old. I totally missed their 60's era...I had to discover that later when I was in my 20's. I was aware of them first in the 7th grade when Saturday Night Fever was at its frenzy. Then they had to disappear when the disco backlash began. But they never stopped writing and had released a couple of albums in the 80's but when Andy died in '88, they decided they couldn't let their talent be wasted as his was (this was their words, not mine) so they began recording again in earnest. I think their later work was among their very very best. You must explore their 80's, 90's and 2000 era songs, as well as more of the 60's. A 60 year span of work. Truly amazing.
The Bee Gees were before and after the Disco Era. Their Music is to bring people together.😍
You should listen to the 60's songs by the Bee Gees before the high pitched sound as they had some great songs in the 1960's
You should check out their song “Words”
Barry lives in Miami and will actually walk out to the gate and talk to people that are there. Robin has an angelic voice! Love love love.
For Whom the Bell Tolls is so good. The Bee Gees are so great. I was blessed to meet them in Miami at a charity event. So, so nice.
The brothers Gibb are a phenomenon. They have truckloads of amazing music. Sadly, so many people refer to them as a disco band and they really only had a handful, a small handful, of “disco“ type music. You will never ever be sorry if you dive more into their catalog. Their music is so amazing as you know. Don’t be afraid just do it. Dive into some of the older stuff before and after the “disco“ stuff.
It wasn't so much the disco beat that was annoying, though sometimes it became tiresome... it was the overuse of Barry's nasally falsetto. I much prefer his voice when he sings in his wonderful natural register.
@@Sometimes-even-lyrical pretty much agree 100%. But it made them millions. LoL
@@Sometimes-even-lyrical I never liked Barry's voice, falsetto or natural. Sure, Gem was right in saying it made them big bucks. However, I never liked the Bee Gees during the disco era. I started listening to their songs in August 2021, when I heard Robin sing I Started A Joke, I Can't See Nobody, and Bodyguard. Shew, my heart melted. Of course,I could name many more Robin lead and solo songs that I still listen to. Robin lead me to the Bee Gees portfolio. Thanks to Rob and Mo for their tremendous contributions to the group. Barry would not be where he is now without his brothers.
@@susanhunter7124 It was not my intention to dis Barry or upset fans who like his falsetto or falsetto in general. I really appreciate the Bee Gees natural voices, great harmonies, and brilliant songwriting. I just don't care for most songs that lean heavily on the use of falsetto, no matter who is singing or from what group.
I do favor Robin's voice among the voices of all the brothers. It just touches my soul. My favorite song is "Massachusetts."
@@Sometimes-even-lyrical I know you weren't. However, I do not like Barry's singing voice at all. I do not like his so called personality that some people think is wonderful. Do some research people! I do enjoy listening to Rob on a daily basis.
Nothing better then a Bee Gees song! Especially when shown with home movie clips of them as kids having fun!
You are so right Jay! There aren’t 3 better voices anywhere. They are the greatest of all time! I am in awe of them too. ❤️
Oh and would y’all please react to these 2 Bee Gees hits? “Love You Inside Out” and “Love So Right”. I promise you will love them. Falsetto YES!
It's so great how Jordan "fangirls" over this group. Not a thing wrong with that!! They were/are great!
Robin on vocals on this one. He was their main vocalist on all their earlier 60s hits.
If you haven't checked out some of their earlier work... just make sure you find videos of 60's performances.
~ "Words"
~ "I just gotta get a message to you"
~ "I started a Joke"
~ "Massachusetts"
I'm 75 and love them and there music which feels like forever there voices still make me go cold
Bee Gees Love You Inside & Out is another song that you will love
Their final US Top 40 hit. You should go to 1987 and check out “You Win Again”. I think it’s the best thing they’ve ever done- and that’s saying something.
Robin singing the chorus heavenly ❤❤❤ All three together they are extraordinary ❤️❤️❤️ love them 👍🏻🤩🏴
It's their best song. Plain and simple.
This tune really hits you when you consider how quickly life goes by you...this teahes you to live life more fully and to appreciate everyone around you while you still have them...Great pick hear guys 😂
One, Secret Love and You Win Again are masterpieces! Thank you for sharing the gift that is the BeeGees.
Especially "One". ❤❤❤
One of my absolute favorite Bee Gee tunes. Right Jay!! Always a good day!! My shoulders are already in motion! This is post-disco song. Robin Gibb rules! Right Amber. Brothers. Yeah Barry is alone.... Right Jay. No disrespect.. the Wilson brothers and cousin have that ability. And Bee Gees and BBs both put me into that special space. From the heart, Jay. Right there with you. Guys, one of the best reactions you've done, IMHO. Thanks. 💛💛💛
Bee Gees - I've Gotta Get A Message To You (Live in Las Vegas, 1997 - One Night Only)
Its about time you gave some of the older Bee Gees song a listen to with Robin as the lead singer, such as, Message To You,/ I started a Joke/ Massachusetts etc.
You’ve got to do “For Whom the Bells Toll”. Another of their later recordings. Robins vocals are nothing short of spectacular
Excellent reaction, and on point! Love that you can appreciate what we who grew up with them learned through the years. You should check out Fanny (Be Tender With My Love)! It is probably one of their best songs. Amber, there is a line where both Barry & Robin are singing, and it sounds like just one voice. Spectacular. Someone noted that Fanny was their mother's favorite song. Also read that Quincy Jones loved it too. LOVE you guys and your channel. Blessings.
It's my absolute favorite as well. I also love a song that most people aren't aware of, "search, find". It's seriously funky.
@@whiskersandshyla9944 Yes definitely funky and cool song! :)
Robin's voice is by far for me the most iconic, the way in most of their songs he ad libs lyrics is just pure genius (secret love ) being one of them.
As many others have said you absolutely have to explore some of their 60s masterpieces. New York Mining Disaster is one of my favorites but so many great songs from that era. I love their disco era as well, and this song from the 90s but please you owe it to yourselves to listen to the early stuff.
Good one! Check out BeeGees ONE. More along the lines of Nights on Broadway than their usual. From same album as this.
I think you guys will love their pre disco hits like Words, I Started A Joke, Run To Me, Lonely Days etc. They had a lot of hits before their Disco phase
Hey guys, love The Bee Gees, but you ought to know the disco era that you refer to as their early stuff isn’t their early stuff, that was a change in sound. They had the hit spicks and specks in 67 right as they left australia (where they started) and returned to england( their birth country). Then New York mining disaster, to love somebody, holiday, Massachusetts, world, words, I’ve gotta get a message to you, I started a joke, lonely days and run to me all before the disco era.
This video of The Bee Gees has me in tears, Robin & Maurice were twins, born in 1949, the same year as myself. Their hits started in the late 60’s, every song was a hit. It’s so sad to think 3 brothers died before their time. 😪♥️♥️♥️
No, they had awesome music come out BEFORE their disco songs! I keep asking for someone to react to "Words" (1967) by the BeeGees, but nobody has yet. Their music in their early days is their best.
My favorite song from their later years is "One". Great fun and, as usual, sublime vocals.
One is a great song! 👍
Wedding day is another great song by the Bee gees.
I love your Bee Gees reactions!! This one is very poignant now that Barry is the last one living. Thanks for these!
❤Bee Gees!!!! Please react to some of the songs when they were younger!
They wrote so many great song for themselves and others. True genius.
You have to do "For Whom The Bell Tolls" Robin's voice is......to cry for.
Saw an interview with Barry and he said this was a look back at the beginning of their career. Listen to "Massachusetts ".
So sad that Barry is without his brothers, who knows how their music would have evolved? What they have left is a lasting legacy of songs that are still relevant today and to be on this channel and seeing Jay and Amber discovering all the songs that have been a part of my life for years opens them up to a whole new legion of fans
Jay. I know how much you love the Bee Gees, but I think it's time you delve into their 60's catalog. To Love Somebody, Holiday, and Massachusetts are some of the better songs from that period.
I love the B-G are one of the unique singers as a group. I love him too anytime music please sing your harmonies are just fantastic. Just saying keep bringing them on.
Please react to The Bee Gees - “For Whom the Bell Tolls”. Robin’s voice is from heaven, rips into your very soul.
The last Top 40 song from the Bee Gees (US #27 - 1997)
Their career, in the US, spanned 30 years, from "New York Mining Disaster" (#14 in 1967)
I still listen to it, from time to time.
A solid way to go out.
All of their music just touches my heart all of it. Another one of their more recent songs for them 1989 is "One" the official video. It's absolutely fabulous and totally not disco.
Nobody harmonizes like the Brothers Gibb!
My goodness is there anything in the world that these boys couldn't do every one of there. Songs? Yes. Magic? There. Voices the way they blend in harmonize has never been equalled in this song to me. It's a tragedy because now very is alone. Hi sure hope there's a heaven because I wanna see these guys again together? Nobody can compare. To The Bee Gees.
They also have a demo version of “Islands in the Stream” which they wrote for Dolly and Kenny.
" For whom the bell tolls" is a later hit from the 90s you should listen too. They did a live performance of this song from New York City and it shows the twin towers in the background. It's amazing.
It was simply amazing...also love I just gotta get a message to you & Wedding Day....all masterpieces
