We’ve been going just about every day down to the Stilly and limiting out on pinks for winter. Just now starting to get some huge silvers come through where we’re at on the river. Been a pretty good year for fishing
Hey brother Bill! I’m a bored dude outta Duvall. Can I fish the area of high bridge near the boat ramp? I’ve got a kayak, and wondered if floating down to three rivers resort would get any action.. I know pinks are done? But I still see boats on the river and wondered what fishery they’re after? I admittedly not real river fishing knowledge… Are they going after trout? Steelhead? I heard some even chase after Peamouths! Lemme know if you have the chance? Thank you sir! Just subbed too!
You are killing it out there. I live in marysville and its my first time fishing for pink salmon. I went 2 days at Langus Riverfront Car Parking on the snohomish river from 8am-noon. Nothing. No one there that i saw got a bite or a fish. I am using pink jigs and spoons. Nothing... Can you or anyone help me with some of the popular spots on the snohomish river where people are catching pinks? Love your videos!
Drive up and down the Snohomish river when you find places where there’s lots of cars that’s usually where they’re going to be catching most of the fish but you’re going to have to get those spots really early like 4 AM
Drive up and down the river look for jumping fish when you find them fish them that’s all I do is drive up and down the river. Looking for jumping fish.
@@fishingtheskykomishriverwi8422 maybe just the weather change and fresh rain water. I don’t know, I’m no scientist. 😊 Just seems to have coincided with the rain. Always seems to. 🤷♂️
Apologies for being ignorant but moved to snohomish county couple months ago from Chicago. Trying to learn the rivers here but am having a hard time understanding the regulations… are the snohomish and skykomish rivers open right now? Everything I’m reading points to 9/16 as an opening date. I’m sure I’m not reading the rule book correctly and would greatly appreciate an explainer! Thanks!
We used to catch them up by 522 this time of year pulling plugs there should be a few in the river by now I am now going to start bringing two rods with me one for pinks and one for silvers. I’ll throw spinners or dick tonight. Hopefully I’ll get one.
It was nice to meet you today. You’ve got lots of great stories man. Gonna try and make my own jigs too. Thanks for the tips!
It was nice to meet you too and I hope that the jig making is fun for you to

On the lower Snohomish river
We caught so many that we were just picking and choosing which ones we wanted to keep. 16 between the four of us that we kept
Nice work! Do you prefer high or low tide? Or does it even matter for pinks?
I do better on an outgoing tide
I knew that rain would bring them in! 😅
The river never even moved an inch from that rain. I looked at the gauges, and it never even moved.

The Snohomish river is open from the boat ramp to Puget Sound. The Skykomish river is not open and will not open this year till November 30.
@@fishingtheskykomishriverwi8422 thank you for the clarification! Terrific content btw!
