@@terry2843 The truthful lyrics for the gaga song: born this way: The lyrics should be like this: there is a problem about who we are, we live with sinful nature. We all are called to REPENTANCE, to change our minds and our hearts. We all are called back HOME, but PRIDE keeps us far. So lets humble ourselves before GOD/CHRIST and lets answer to the calling. I have sinned and felled short in the glory of GOD and without repenting i am at the wrong path. How can we ask for love if there is none in us, we abuse ourselves and others daily. How can say we`re good if only do is sin, we telling lies, stealing lives, and destroying the light. Yea we were born a sinner, lifelong sinful nature, but now we all are called to have new birth. Don`t stay a sinner, become a new creature in Christ who promise to give you a warm heart. Yea we were born sinners, but in Christ can we be brand new, without a sin of any kind. Be you black or white, small or great, GOD through Christ calls all home. Are we gonna answer or is our hearts grown cold? Our eyes and ears have we closed? Are we all lost cases or is there still a chance that some of us shall be saved? If we could change our lives, would we took the chance? Or are we quick to say: “no, thanks, im good”?

The fact that she brought a church organ to this performance, especially at the bridge where she lists the outcasted people, is simply fucking brilliant, omg
❤
She sounds as good as the radio WHILE performing very intense dance moves. The dedication is really in a different stratosphere.
She was about 24 years old here and so confident in her message. Wow she was/is born to be brave!
I believe she was 23 in 2008, so it means she was 25/26 in this perfomance
@@gabvulpes This Grammy Awards show was in February of 2011. She turned 35 this March. So 10 years ago during the time of this Grammys she would have been 24 about to turn 25 the following month.

She changed my life.
Every gaga era she made an iconic performance. Paparazzi, bad romance, born this way, and then applause. Forever the most iconic gaga song though.
***** Don't forget Bang Bang from CTC :D
***** She sang "You and I" at the VMAs. This was at the Grammy's
***** Which Bad Romance performance?
Odalis Uceta I was referring to the AMA performance where she combined bad romance and speechless.
***** Ikr, Cannot wait for her next era though, I have a feeling it's gonna be goooodddd jisagkjangailshgndalg
"Born This Way" is awesome. I really wish it would have come out when I was young. I'm 61 and absolutely LOVE this song. It gives me hope! It gives me pride! All my life I have felt unworthy of love and/or respect. This song woke something in me and today I am stronger than I would have ever been. Thank You, Lady Gaga. I, and many many many others, love you for showing us the way.
I truly hope you now realize how worthy you are. 💗👊👊✌✌
@Bruce, yes!! So happy to read that, I have felt the same since I listened to this song first time she sang it at the Grammys, it's really an inspiring song! Peace and love to you all!
That's wonderful!! Thanks for sharing this. I hope you have found people who love you and appreciate you for who you are : )
@Bruce
You’re valid and amazing 😉 ❤️😁
❤️
3 years of career and she was already this brave, wanting to change the world with something more than traditional pop songs about love or couples.
The way that her and the team was so creative. Their clothes is literally made of bus seats - latex
Omg how does she dance like this and still have breath to sing!! -bows-
She amazing right!!!! Love her new album #Joanne!
Katty Kang she's a professionally trained vocalist
and pianist!
Katty Kang she is of the few artists in the pop industry that could actually sing live so well
+ÁDC ÁDC Yea. Her and Beyoncé. They're my favorite live performers.
One of the toughest performance in Grammy history. Dance a lot in insane heels. maintain breath and take out tough head voice which required relax body

parallel side and sit in an egg for 70+ hours
It's not that hard when you are possessed by the devil.
Don’t come in here with that.
Jake Bosley hahahaha that’s funny😂👏
She's unique with her clothing, songs, and performances. Sheer talent all around.
12 years later and I still cry 😢 😭 thank you Gaga
wtf she danced perfectly with those heels
How does the do it I can barely stand in heels
Thats why she is LADY GAGA

when the pause before the bridge happened, i figured "oh i guess they wouldnt let her sing Those Lyrics on live tv" but, OH NO, she was simply gearing up to it and being beautiful n dramatic. i cried, yall.
I remember in middle/high school people thinking I was so strange for liking her. I got comments like “she kisses girls” or “you know she’s bisexual, right?” and “she’s SO weird”. And I just couldn’t comprehend why that was such a big deal to people and why it held them back from liking her and appreciating her music. Fast forward to today and people are finally starting to understand.
Sounds like you just lived in a really backwards town.
@@DNotzz I did in many ways, but it's funny because the people who made those comments to me are some of the biggest LGBT activists I know now.

At the time the people always made fun of the exaggeration and bizarreness for years later we recognized how iconic it was.
Now grammy 2022, 11 years ago, nostalgia
And now she’s won an Oscar too. You are legendary, Mother Monster.
Everybody sees Crazy outfits and a vessel I see a girl with a big dream and a big voice trying to change the world.

It's kinda crazy when you think about the number of lives this song saved. She's truly amazing... one of the most powerful songs/messages in the history.
This is the most Iconic Grammy Perfomance! I just rewatched it again, and giving me goosbumps...joy of of tears..... Lady Gaga made my teenage time so meaningful!
Can we just admire the choreography for a second?
+Zaky Em Beautiful.
People who says this "Its hard to sings well and dance at the same time" needs to see this video. She make it look so easy.
and then you break your hip .... D:
she even got her heels on
Her being able to do it doesn't make it easy...
ddoctriness it says literally "She make it look so easy". There is a difference in what you say and what he said.
when gaga changed pop FOREVER
Lady Gaga is someone to behold her stage presence is so undeniable!!
still one of the best performances ever! the alien concept, the outfits, the prosthetics, the hair flips, the head piano, everything is perfect! no one does it like her, she's really ahead of her time.
thats why shes the queen im sorry for ever and always. no one is seeing her
@@terry2843 The truthful lyrics for the gaga song: born this way:
The lyrics should be like this:
there is a problem about who we are, we live with sinful nature.
@@terry2843 we could still see this performance in 2023. That's how timeless and iconic this performance is.

Most of the people were already standing 😂
okay, little over half a year, still pissed?

Most of them are homophobic
sometimes, grammys has no taste
I love this. Gaga is singing live, dancing in latex which isn't easy and the coreo uses all the levels. No stage elements but the egg. It's brilliant. All on live TV during Primetime broadcast. Truly the first multimedia pop star. And it's such an austere performance you just get Gaga and the dancers and that's true fan service. Thank you Gaga! Paws up! 😅😅😅
Lady gaga another Italian woman.who is a legend
I thought this era of music was trash, I didn't understand then. Now, regretted those days were pop music has real substance and deep meaning.
Many songs still have real meaning behind them. You just have to find them.
me too
Exactly
Me 2
I was thinking about the same as you did but I don't think pop has any deeper meaning.
Gaga is returning for Grammys 2016 yay
EXCITED
Will she be performing from her new album?
Abel Rodriguez not confirmed
She probably will perform from her new record. The promotion will be great and it's rumored the new single will be out in February so it lines up perfectly.
+mrever1212 99% sure I read somewhere that she isn't performing new material. It's confirmed that she's doing her Intel performance thing and there's a rumor that she (and possibly with Madonna) will be doing a tribute to David Bowie
Even the dancers felt pride reaching up at the very end 😭😭💜💜 this was more than a performance it was definitely a cry and relief.
This will always remind me of a float at Baltimore pride where a bunch of motorcycle dudes in leather were dancing and singing to this song. It was the best memory of that pride!
The first time she ascended those stairs, slammed that church organ, and sang "NO MATTER GAY STRAIGHT OR BI LESBIAN TRANSGENDER LIFE" lemme tell you I was REBORN.
Gaga invented gay rights we Stan!
Same
i love that organ breakdown, and at the end the song really turns into a church coral. her mind
I got so many chills
I sang this song to my Aspie (Asperger's/hfAutism) son when he was young and I had to teach him about music!! God makes no mistakes. BTW...he loves music now at 17.

It’s amazing how what some people considered a “trendy artist” managed to stay relevant for so long. She’s like a chameleon in every sense of the word.
Shes a triple threat, incredible performer, amazing actress, and a social media sensation. She is always ahead of her time an instead of following trends she makes them. A fucking icon.
@@hunterwolfe669 omg your comment aged like wine now she has a tricon award
@Ares an award given by MTV VMA for mastering in three or more fields because Gaga is a musician, an actress, a fashion icon, and an activist. Tricon is so special because Gaga is the first awardee ever
Yess!! I think it’s also her continued support that also keeps all her fans here. Because yes she’s one of the best singers I’ve ever heard but ok personally I used to feel super connected and safe whenever I listened to her music as a kid. And now I’m older I now know I’m an enby lesbian but back then I had no clue. And yet some sub conscious part of my brain knew her music was going to be my safe/happy place for over the next 10+ yrs. I love Gaga and always will because her music helped me feel loved when my family didn’t ❤️🌈
Gaga's voice is always perfect no matter what.
yeah thats true
there's probably some slight auto-tuning involved but for the most part it is live, and a lot better than most other performers.
