Where to fit a water tank on Mercedes Sprinter and VW Crafter

- Our 58 Litre water tank fits snugly down the DRIVER'S SIDE (This video is taken with a left hand vehicle) of a Mercedes Sprinter (2006 onwards) and a VW Crafter (2006-2018). I think the side sliding door on the right side of this van? Mine's on the left, so the tank will have to go next to the exhaust

The crafter mk2 started in 2017, does this fit mk2 crafter? Year is misleading as in 2017 they crossed over and you can have mk1 and mk2 crafter 2017. From 2017 mk2 has suffered no changes so from 2017 on is same vam mk2.
Does this tank fit on the opposite side of the van also, so you could have two tanks, one on each side?
Hi Mark, the tank will not fit where shown on the video on most standard UK vans - we are planning to re-shoot this video. The tank actually fits on the driver's side behind the exhaust. You will only fit one of these tanks underneath the van.
Pretty sure this doesn’t fit the 2017+ crafter, they have more supports on the bottom, haven’t fitted mine because it’s too low, advert is wrong I beleive
Same problem on a 2019 Crafter van. Where did you finally fixed your tank?
@@Laura-js6tr I haven’t, I think I will just fit it wherever it’ll go and be done, it will probably bottom out though
@@Con-rides-bikes Thank you. In my plan (crafter L2H2) there is a shower at the front, on pre-2017 models the grey water tank came right underneath, with my 2019 vehicle I will have to install drain pipes all the way to the end of the van... I'm a bit bothered but I think it's doable.
