this is really cool! but honestly its kinda sad how most Disney characters have those perfect body types. I like how Disney ties to make everybody who watches their movies feel like they can be princesses like them but with the exact same body type it says how that's the only beautiful body type and its sad in a way

Mulan and Merida and Moana have different body types
actually in general they have different body types, snowhite is short and kind of chubby ( pin up style chubby) while aurora is skinny in a more angular way. cinderella is slim but with a soft look to her features. pocahontas looks tall and strong, her legs look like she is used to run around. belle is a bit more like cinderella but her face is more round. jasmine is skinny on the waist but has a little more hips and chest than te others, same with esmeralda, her tights amd chest are larger than the first princesses. merida has kind of a flat chest but wide hips and very round face. moana is short and broad, mulan is skinny amd flat...classic chinesse body type really while tiana's got an ass and curves. i guess what you meant maybe is that none of them are actually fat wich sorry but i don't see as a bad thing. they do have different body types, short or tall, delicate or stronge, angular skinny or chubby, with curves and flat. there's variety enough. now not of them are fat ( or not what fat really is even if some people call moana fat (pffff)) and i don't blame them for two things. first there's the idea now that being fat is perfectly ok and fat people shouldn't try to lose weight. and that is not exactly true because too much weight is never healthy just like it isn't to be underweight. the problem here is that people confuse being chubby or broad built with being fat and is not the same, they have chubby and broad built princesses, so they don't need a fat one any more than an anorexic one. second before anyone says that some are extremely skinny, there is the issue of the drawing style of the movies. i belive the most skinny looking princess would be aurora, but the style of the movie is gothic art and almost all characters are tall and very angular and sharp ( save two fairies and the prince's dad and even in being fat they still have some sharp features) oh well and meg but again even if she looks . so the body type changes a lot together with the drawing style, the personality of the character and the face features. what doesn't change much is the size wich is between always between an 34 and a 40 ( real actual measures meaning the half of the waist perimeter, not the shops sizes) wich is a range of healthy sizes so i think disney is doing fine. what i really wonder is why use thia song for the disney princess...practically none of them was very worried about their beauty and cared more about being able to make themselves heard and making their opinion matter

We want more princess that represent different bodies properly. Not skinny with big boobs and butt . Those are not “different body types”
Lexi Right again, they are different body types, some are sharp features, some soft, some have curves some dont. different body types are, they are all between the sizes of 34-38, but then again they are teenagers and most girls between 14 and 20 are on that range of sizes, sorry but is true i go on the street and see a group of kids and they all look those sizes and most of them don't even have any chest or hips yet. beside you know how difficult would be to draw a girl without the waist smaller than the chest and the hips whithout making her look like a square? even fiona and flame from adventure time who are chubby( author words) still have a "small" waist( is not really small, is just has a shape) and of course in the case of the classic princesses the drawing style and the fashion standards of that time have an influence. the new princesses do have diferent body types, is just that they are still teens, with general teenagers bodies an age in wich normally girls,be naturally skinny, or naturally broad like moana, do not have fat unless is due to a genetic problem or eating a lot in the burger. sorry but that is true you go in a highschool and 90% of the kids can fit in sizes between 34/38 (s-m/L) unless they have a health issue. so precisely if you want a realistic representation of girls they are already doing it with the last ones. now you can ask for a representation of women because the disney princesses are not women, they're kids the oldest one is like 20 and not even. for a representation of women maybe the focus should be in the queens
