  • Let's talk about a two -letter word, "no". Today we're sharing the things that we say no to with our kids. So all you parents out there, or soon -to -be parents, I know you love your kids and they're so cute and you wanna say yes, but you probably say no to your kids with certain things, and so what we thought we'd do in this episode is walk through the eight or so things that we say "no" to our kids about, and what we say "yes" to instead.

You guys are so relatable, I don't see how this channel does NOT blow up! Very similar cultures in our household, and we get a lot of compliments from other parents (and our parents) about our kids behavior. So important to be intentional, which is exactly what you guys are preaching through the rules and expectations of your kiddos. We still have a long way to go, but I could only imagine the frustration if we had decided to be more hands off. Love you guys!

I have a buddy who loves to say (and told his kids all the time growing up) “hard now easy later, or easy now hard later - you choose!” That’s something I constantly try to keep in mind in all of our parenting decisions. Love hearing the thought process behind all of y’all’s decisions! Our old is 10 so we haven’t had to deal with some of these things yet but I’m constantly trying to pray and think about it so that we go into every new stage with humility but also firmness in our convictions! Thanks again for another great episode you guys!

Last time I checked, B-Real was the rapper from Cypress Hill. Glad that now he has an app! 💯

I grew up having sleep overs too. I started in middle school. However, those were different times.

You guys don't sound like bad parents at all! My parents had a lot of the same No's and I'm gonna have the same for my two kids. They're still very young. Loving the podcast!

Graham! Long time follower of your business content and previous member of your community (sad face). Would love for you guys to discuss more in depth how you are approaching teaching your kids a success mindset and money related skills as they get older. My goal is that by the time my kiddos get to 18, that they are fully capable and competent members of society (within reason) and if I was no longer around that I would be confident in their ability to navigate the world successfully without me. Between that and loving the Lord would truly define success as a parent for me. Hope that maybe inspires some content, cause there is a lot to unpack there! lol Thanks again for all you guys do.
