Here in the States, we use those large galvanized metal tubs as water features. Such as small ponds or a water fountain.
I was just going to type that :)
They make good log bins also !

The old metal washtubs (mentioned at timestamp 16:11) make fabulous drinks holders for outdoor events. Just fill a few washtubs with ice, add bottled drinks, place on the ground near the food tables, and let your guests serve themselves as and when. :)

You are so lucky that the kittens enjoy being on your lap....our two are the first, out of all our cats, who don't like cuddles...they show affection in other ways though. I loved the hook shelve ,you found.... so unique and unusual . I fancied some of those baskets, especially the one the teddies were in 💕💖

The metal tubs, you could poke holes in the bottom, fill with good soil/compost and have a wee garden.. could be for herbs, cocktail garden (herbs & strawberries), salad greens (I've been eating wonderful lettuce, for my daily salad, since spring... cut and come.. I'm in my 3rd replant) or strawberries. Great on my small balcony.

Good finds. OMG, when you went through the McDonald’s drive through and Luke was getting the giant drinks into the car, the label didn’t look quite like “Double Peel” yet, until it turned a little more-more like “Double Pee.” ROFL 😂
Hi Iwan, Loved your little F & M basket filled with snacks. Mittens is a real daddies girl. So sweet. I loved the antique market tour. The round table you liked looked beautiful. I though the flower paintings were really lovely . So many interesting things, what a treat. Beautifil coat hooks too, I think a maiden hair fern would look perfect on the shelf. It makes me chuckle when you say you're going for a mooch. In the States a mooch is a person who begs or asks for things with no expectation of paying. Mooching or moochers are to be avoided. Love the kittens, so precious.
If you get a heated throw you will be able to turn the central heating down a degree or two in the evening-every little helps. The cats will love lying on it too!

We recently brought home to little boy kittens (at approx 5 to 6 weeks old). They are brothers. Our neighbor and friend brought their 2 sisters home a few days later! (Our boys are 'Bob' and 'Hamish')
I cried a little inside at some of the beautiful paintings and frames at the antique sale! I may have to consider moving to London from Michigan lol!

Gutted! I went to the last antiques fair at Kempton and hoped I might bump into you two and decided to give this one a miss + I have to take a day off work to go. Maybe another time! There is so much to look at. I liked the little mirrors and, yes, they’d look nice dotted around the garden.

Great Blog video, Mr. C. Thank you. Watched yours first, then Luke's. Both excellent. That was a great Antique sale. Trouble is that your eyes are all over the place ! You could honestly buy something off every seller ! There were some fantastic items.
I have the large F&M hamper shown in the video. I found it on top of someone's dustbin and knocked and asked if it was going in the rubbish, and she said help yourself!! Makes a great storage box for my DVDs xxx

Enjoyed the vlog, thankyou. You mentioned the Lakeland heated clothes rack (Aldi do a version) but I want to share a tip I read. If you have your radiators on (!!) stand a basic clothes rack next to it and cover the radiator and rack with a double sheet enclosing the rack, and trapping the heat under to dry your clothes. Might save on those expensive tumble dryers this winter.

We have just bought some solid oak chairs, looked up prices from new, starting at £130.00 each! I am working on them now, cleaning and bees waxing the wood, seat are now ready for new materiel once it is delivered. They cost for the six of them £8.50p each! And of course the cost of the material, £25.00. Labour is free! Hahaha! 👍👍👍👍👍

Hi There! Not a great one for scary films, one or two perhaps but not see the Scream ones at all. I loved the way your kittens wanted to share in your snacks & kept making you jump!! If our cat sits on my hubby's lap the term we use is catted, which seems to be his get out of jail free card to not do anything!! Loved that Antiques market, saw loads I wanted! The tin baby baths are great as planters, I have two in my garden full of plants. They would make great water features too with some pond lillies in and a little pump fountain perhaps? The shelf was lovely, very unusual and not a bad price either. Was the word you were looking for, a writing desk? The painting with the staring man, would be great for a Halloween dec, he was a bit scary!! The tied together books, great for making into junk journals or as you say if you were looking for make a book case colour cordinated. Nice goodie bag from Lakeland, just placed an online order with them funny enough. Poor Mittens, hope she recovers fully soon, but pumpkin will soon bring her out of herself i'm sure. Loved the antiques market so many unsual things , the cat shelf was just waiting for you to come along and buy it , what a lovely item so different. The Lakeland gift bag had some lovely things too. If your going to buy one of their heated dryers Iwan i can recommend them I have one , make sure you have the cover too the clothes dry alot quicker with one I wouldn't be without mine in the winter months

Some of the artworks were lovely. Love actual art that folks have painted. I saw a lot of things I’d be interested in buying. Too bad I’m in the states.
Those metal tubs make great water fountains in a garden. I could see on on your roof garden with some water plants and a solar waterfall twinkling water into the base. Birds would love it. Just have to make sure it’s waterproof.
My mom has a collection of Royal Dalton dolls that my dad bought her.

Hi Mr. C! So interesting what you can find at an antique market/boot sale (or flea market as we call them here in the U.S.) I love the Steiff bears & that foldable cat shelf you purchased. Bonus that it folds up too. 😉 I think you could transform those larger metal buckets & tubs into really nice water fountains for a large garden and how fun were those cast iron penguins? Really enjoyed the antique market. I roam around many myself. The shelf was rather unique I think. I am seriously thinking of commissioning someone to purchase a F&M hamper basket at a market for me to pick up when I return home to London! I love them! What a grate day out you guys had.

You just reminded me I still have a tin of tomato soup left 😁 I use those soup mugs, they're brilliant, I also store my unopened tins of soup in them to save on storage space. I saw the scream movies years ago, won't be watching the new one cos I'm not a horror fan. I've also seen the scary movies which are a comedy take on scream and some other horror movies, they were absolutely hilarious when they first came out.
Oh my gosh Mr C I haven’t been able to get past the part in your video when you’re watching Scream and the kitten jumps up on the couch and it makes you jump. I almost fell over laughing! 😂. This is why I just can’t watch horror films alone. I’m too chicken! 😂😂
I don't do horror films or McDonald's. I do like the ingenious design of the shelf. I might paint over the checkerboard pattern.

Loved this video and how cute are Pumpkin and Mittens ❤️. I can highly recommend the heated airier, although I have the Wilko winged heated airier which was £50 there is just my hubby and I and it works really well for us.
