    Looking for a portable scooter that handles city lanes and off-road tracks equally well? The Kugoo Kirin M4 might be the scooter to check! At only $615 it has dual-syspension system, reliable front and rear disk brakes and a powerful motor with 45 km/h top speed. On top of that - you can fold it and it weighs only 23kg! If that's not enough to tease you - in the video I make a lot of references to other scooters, and there even is a speed-test comparison to Ninebot Max and Mi Scooter. Enjoy!

    4:19 The left brake being the rear brake has always been the setup on bicycles both here in Ireland and English for decades. The danger is, once we get used to a particular configuration, we tend to default to it in an emergency (I'd always pull the left lever for a very quick stop - if it's actually the front brake, bad things await). Be careful, kiddies.

    • @TechMishka

    • @daveroche6522
      @daveroche6522 Před 2 lety +1

      @@TechMishka Thank you. Don't think it's a case of reversed setup/'us v them' - rather just the way procedures/systems 'evolve' - great example being driving on the left or right - (mainland Europe on the right, historically due to certain Napoleonic decisions [insofar as I'm aware], on the left here in Ireland (I think it was G.B. Shaw who said that in the event of a global disaster, Ireland is the safest place to be as it's FORTY YEARS BEHIND EVERYONE ELSE!). It's actually an English element - Britain & Commonwealth-related countries retain the legacy of driving on the left (indeed the railway systems are/were also designed that way). Bottom line: "Potato/tomato". Whoops, I seem to have drifted into History 101 - sorree! Safety first - "No helmet? NO WAY" - Go n'éirigh an mbóthar libh, a chairde....

      @TechMishka  Před 3 lety +1

    • @markbatty76
      @markbatty76 Před 3 lety +1

      Even if it didn't have cruise control there are 3 speed settings so if you want to go at the top speed of any of the settings you can easily make a clip or a rubber band to keep the trigger pulled in. But I doubt that you be able to keep the trigger pulled in while in top speed setting. The video doesn't really give it justice as to just how fast this scooter is. It took me a day or two to get used to the acceleration from standing still. If you are not standing with the correct weight on the scooter and the other foot ready to leave the floor it will take off and leave your feet on the ground and flip itself. Seriously like 0 to 28mph in around 4 seconds. I leave my mate standing when he is on his bike and he doesn't catch me ever. When he does and I am already sitting in the house he is out of breath while I am like I've just walked to the kitchen and back. Not a scooter for kids.
