I came from apex and all I can say is the customer service here is outstanding and glad to be a top step trader
This guy has been fighting this so long but finally gave in. Problem is thier payout policy is still the worst in the industry with only 50% payout for most people and having to hit 5 x $200 for every payout which forces you to take risks and blowup accounts which is exactly what they actually want. I am in 25 day winning streak but have never done $200 so basically will never get a payout. Change to a dollar buffer amount and change to 90% split from day one and remove the DLL then I will know you actually want to creat professional traders.
Exactly the reason why I don't trade with them and you are one of the few to point it out, that for conservative micro traders is almost impossible to get a payout and make consistently 200 bucks and then get only 50%
The things you want gone don’t make sense together. If you’re making less than 200 a day, there should be no reason whatsoever for you to want the DLL removed. And the “90% split” has nothing to do with the 50%. The 50% means you can only take out 50% of your account with each payout, it doesn’t mean they take 50% of profits. The 90% is the % of money you keep when requesting a payout, and you keep 100% of payouts until you’ve gotten 10k in payouts, meaning it’s better than a 90% split on day one. Honestly I was slightly on board with what you were saying until you said to remove the DLL, with your trading style you can easily blow up a months worth of profits hitting the DLL let alone if it wasn’t there. They let you adjust the DLL once being called up to live too, but the DLL helps the MAJORITY of traders. There is literally no reason for them to remove it
@@MugiwaraReilly it all comes downs to risk. I make less then $200 because risking more when you only have a $1000 DLL is irresponsible as $1000 is way to litte risk to work with to trade even one mini. So if you actually trade properly with proper risk management you would only really be able to trade with a few micros and depending on your strategy, making $200 consistently is not easy. So opening up the DLL and only having the max draw down gives more you risk to work with ( on a $50k account ) . And then , wake up, how many traders ever get to 30 x $200 ( which is when you can withdraw more then 50% ) . I bet less then 1 % of funded traders. More importantly, most other companies remove all DLL after you cross the buffer zone but with topstep you are stuck on the stupid DLL even if you account is up $10k and you have to do the stupid 5 x $200 every time before you can withdraw money. Many other companies let you do what you want once you pass the buffer zone because then thier risk is off the table. So the ONLY reason topstep this this is s to pay out less, if you can’t see that then you have been fooled.

I’m new to trading futures. I bought a few accounts, just to try this out. I found out I’m just a better trader when I focus on one account …I will scale up later. I love this journey and also very thankful for the practice account.
Yeah having multiple accounts isn’t always the best, I notice sometimes I’ll be trading more aggressively when I have multiple active accounts

did my first time topstep combine on 50k on february pass it on march, trade my XFA for a week and took my first payout by hitting minimun $200 a day for 5 days, on second week i blown it cause i had sucha small wiggle room $500 and yes i took half of my XFA, now im scaling my profit into 150k combine, reset it once this month using 50% first time reset, blown the 150k combine twice, this week topstep doin the fire drill free reset. im so lucky thank you topstep for the free reset. guys i been trading on cfd nasdaq for 2 years, recently move into futures because of topstep, and i must say i wish i started sooner. consider u guys are lucky to be able to trade on futures cause almost zero spread lol.
Why’d you move to the 150k so soon?
@@MugiwaraReilly 1k drawdown too small to maneuver. for me 1k drawdown means no scale in and no scale out.

@@tradertiga ahh that makes sense, I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t see you’ve been trading cfd for 2 years. I thought you were completely new to trading, so I was gonna say that going to 150k so soon probably wasnt smart but you know what you’re doing so ignore me
