I have been trying not to stress out and obsess over my financial picture, which is quite dismal, so tired of worrying how and where funds are going to come in order to buy things, pay for services , hell,even eat. So ….you absolutely nailed it. My mother in law recently had a massive stroke and I’ve had to leave work to go home and take care of her. I really need to return to work but have a limited amount of time to figure out how to care for her and work. The state will pay me to care for her but I’ve got a good job and don’t want to lose all I’ve worked hard for. Also, the family we recently moved closer to doesn’t seem to want to help even to be paid for it. I’m at a crossroads about my career and caregiving. I always let my career take a back seat to all family caregiving needs, but I’m stressed about this dilemma because we just bought a home and other financial obligations.

The negative person in my life is one of my best friends who happens to be living with me at the moment. Freeing herself from a very abusive relationship. Unfortunately her drama and grieving process is affecting me and my energy and it’s taking a toll on me.
