ZHI YUN - You nailed the pronunciation Arthur!
zYou Win!
Now that looks fantastic
This is seems to be a budget friendly option to the well loved DJI RS3. Might have to give it a shot, thanks for the amazing review Arthur !
Nice review! Really thorough and well explained :)
Very nice presentation. I like your reviews and style. I just want to point out, showing footage is slow motion makes the video appear very smooth. If I would make a video, I would show the video at normal playback speed. I hope this helps. In reality, if I would be doing gimbal shots, I would be playing in slow motion like you did, because subjectively, that's what gives me the smoothest "looking" effect.
Cracking video with your brother!
Actually i bought this Gimbal last month, and all the reviews on internet, turned out to be True!
It’s truly a well thought and decent tool. Currently all the single unit sling grips and H rests, on the market, even on their website, is sold out, and that’s the only bummer.
i have question about doing gimbal moves with this, I bought this and i suck at track follow like the subject will stay at middle and im gonna walk around the subject, i cant do it without using the joystick to control the gimbal movement, i saw other gimbal users just walking and holding their gimbal with it and the camera follows the subject. I am wondering if their camera connected to gimbal is doing the work better, because my sony a6000 cant connect to weebill 3s
Looks like there is no more lightweight options like Weebill S but 3S looks nice
Nice video , is it possible to balance sony a6400 with the 16-50mm kit lens or will it be too light?
You can refer to its list: zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230719/1689732328866-c7Eixxwz.pdf pages 26-30😉
hello Arthur ! thanks for your video , however i would like to know if you have been able to connect your fx30 with the bluetooth mode? on the website they dont mention any compatibiliy with fx30, only fx3.
This is the newest camera compatibility list:zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230817/1692254895811-e7tCG4cY.pdf Weebill-3S has been compatible with Sony FX30.
Is it easy to balance? I have never owned a gimbal and have been thinking about it and looking at a lot of videos but I’m always leery of the balancing of a gamble and if it’s going to take a lot of time or be hard to do.
Once you do it a few times it shouldnt take longer than 3-4 minutes.
When I mount vertically my a7sIII on Weebill S my rear motor hitting the camera while trying to go in underslung mode because it's very close to my Tilt motor (the shoulder between Tilt and Roll axis motors). Is it better here on 3S, can you go in underslung mode while camera mounted vertically without hitting Roll axis motor?
Hi! You can refer to pages 26-30 of this list: zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230512/1683884790271-TEdjksdH.pdf 😉
time 2:36. model lans? nice shot
I have a Zhiyun Crane Plus that I've owned for the past 6 years. I'm looking to get a new one. Right now, I'm just weighing my options on the best one to get. I want one that will be compatible with my Canon 80D.
Cano 80D is in the camera compatible list of Weebill3S:zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20231204/1701656557232-YmXQfCWt.pdf
Dude the shots you took in slow motion with the gimbal I could easily do without it. I expected better tests 😄
The only bit of video gear Ive never bought - its the balancing that puts me off
can it handle 70-200 2.8 II? what about first version?
Payload is about 6lbs and the 70-200 isnt that heavy.
@@ArthurR thank's a lot!
Do you know how to connect WEEBILL 3S with Sony A73 via Bluetooth?
Bluetooth shutter control and pairing methods:
①Turn on the camera's Bluetooth: go to the camera settings menu, select Network → Bluetooth Settings → Bluetooth Function → On;
②Bluetooth pairing/connection: Network → Bluetooth Settings → Pairing;
③Click the menu button, Bluetooth Shutter → Select the corresponding camera Bluetooth name and click Connect;
④Turn on Bluetooth remote control: Network → Bluetooth Remote Control → On.
Probably a daft question, but can you use large mobile phones on this?
Nope😄 Crane M2/M3/M2S/M3S can use with Mobil phone but no Bluetooth control. Smooth series is better for smartphone.
Get a Smooth 5S for phones. Awesome, super lightweight but far better than the Osmo 6 I had
@@miketipton678
Can it hold an a73 with lens?
Yes, this is Weebill-3S mounting list for your reference: zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230906/1693990812735-TSdMbptp.pdf
Did you know you can use this gimbal for your phone too? I don't know why no one mentions it 🤔
This is camera stablizer, if you want to mount the phone, you need to solve the balancing problem.
@@hebehe462I mounted my phone on it and could balance the phone just the way I balance my camera with no problem
jee-yoon
Your pronunciation for "Zhiyun" is still a little off...but that's ok because in English there aren't any words that make these sounds. Also the tone is super important. A change in tone completely changes the meaning in Chinese.
Give him a break, He said it close enough already. 5 stars from me!
Yes he said close enough glad he is trying but respect the language in the same way :)
he's saying the Cantonese pronunciation
People who do gimbal reviews then film in slow motion bothers me.
Arthur, as Zhiyun ambassador you should make them aware of the importance of customer service. It is terrible. Zhiyun after sales people don't know their own product.
depends who you talk to, and it's the same with other popular brands. Our company switched over to Zhiyun after having too many issues with the more popular brand. Weebill 2 and 3 have been great for our shooters here.
@@miketipton678 I've had issues with a malfunctioning bluetooth module I ordered as an accessory for my Crane M3. Ordered a replacement, I hope it works out. But boy how much effort I had to put in just to get Zhiyun after sales people to understand my issue.
@@michelhuyskens9790 Hi! We are sorry to hear that you will feel this way. Would you mind sending an email to us and sharing your experience? We are more than willing to help you out~😊😊
@@zhiyunsupportglobal706 Hi thanks for reaching out. Meanwhile I ordered and received a new bluetooth module which is working properly.
@@michelhuyskens9790 So happy to hear that!! We really hope to bring great user experience to our customers, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask us!
First
They update their gimbals every season. More of the same. More of the same.
I hate gimbals. They don't hold their value as new models are realessed a few times a year.
They are tools more than they are investments for sure.
Get a used previous model then, they are always same old, same old.
They don't, just like drones and other devices. They do improve and demand for that older model drops significantly
jher-yu-en.
Thanks for the early review! It really looks like i finally could make an upgrade for my old Weebil 2s. Just one question, would You be so kind to measure footprint of it with arm rotated, to make it as "long and slim" as possible? I mean something like on this picture attached:
drive.google.com/file/d/1Z_KWbak1Xl7IBskreRBnAGDG8CYJMecr/view?usp=sharing
As i can see it looks pretty similar in size to my Weebill 2, but i have to rotate it properly to fit in perfectly into my bag. I can't squeeze any moge height than 15cm. I would appreciate if You could measure it for me!
