Some people actually managed to implement multiplayer on some early 0.12 version but I missed it then and dont have archived version now.
Most "tarkov coop is ez" projects die on monetisation problem. You have to be paid for such work and you cant since BSG actually can impose some legal threat.
Thats how emuTarkov team abadoned the project (OG SPT-AKI if I remember correctly senko was part of original emutarkov team but its been 3 years now and I may trip a bit)

When I was talking about cheaters and BSG profiting off them like 4 years ago people werent ready I guess. I understand that the game was objectively better back then but this sitiation is the same all these years.
The main problem of SPT is in lack of actual monetisation as I said earlier. Most promising big mods are heavily underdeveloped since its all passion project you cant even use as portfolio. I hope influx of new audience will change that

I dont expect anything to change really since BSG are incompetent in actual development, gamedesign and QA but they can make the game SO MUCH playable only by changing values for now

I think that’s the big reason spt is shit on by Nikita. The things devoted modders are capable of put the game development team to ABSOLUTE shame in many cases. He knows this. he’s not an idiot. With so little progress being made sometimes I wonder WHAT BSG is actually doing…

I essentially turned my game into ghost recon: Tarkov Exclusion zone. 3rd person mod completely changes the whole feel of it. And the damn immersive raids mod. Holy shit. Nothing feels better than laying down on a sniping spot for a few hours eating pevko and sausage while listening to some nice tunes and watching the airdrops and death squads roll by.
I agree and forreal Nikita realized he fucked up and will probably just have to deal with it.
Add the Blackout events and the Cultists embushes.

Crazy that some gamedevs dont realize that modders do their projects out of love to their game. BSG is missing out on a lot of potential and new ideas just because they decide to go against and shut down a modding community that, for example in other projects like stalker or fallout, makes sure that the game always offers a new, fresh and different experience. Instead of investing the money to sue these communities, they could employ some of the modders that created interesting projects and even managed to find solutions to adress issues in the game.
Because they're russian and never had that love to begin with

Straight facts. Tarkov, undoubtedly, is a unique and promising, but niche product due to a sh*t ton of various problems. SPT is what makes playing EFT for fun possible, and i hope it'll always be there for casual gamers like myself.

I agree with your sentiment, but Tarkov is not niche. It has upwards of half a million daily players at the start of a wipe. That's 1/4th of XIV and 1/5th of WoW's daily players. It's by no means niche.

I have always wanted to try EFT but it seems every single update just alienates more and more players like the Lighthouse content, without even counting the technical issues like hackers or desync or the ridiculous edginess that causes the devs to make every map ultra dark for "gritty realism" reasons. SPT seems like my kind of thing, sadly it looks like I'll have to get a legit copy though
I generally don't like hating on BSG, but the one thing that I can't get is their refusal to work with modders. Modders keep games like these alive. Some days I want to just chill, but I can't just play SPT because I don't want the risk.
Afaik there's no risk. They have no way of knowing you installed it. Unless they start scanning your computer's files or something crazy

If it helps, I've been playing SPT for months and frequently switch between main game with friends and SPT. Have never had any issues, try it! It's fun
The absolute only risk you could ever run into is being banned from their live service. They cannot sue you, they cannot have you arrested. In fact like the vid creator said, they have 0 way of scanning your files to see your completely separate game. If they did that, THEY would be the ones doing something illegal unless you officially allowed them to do so(which you didn’t)

Now, hypothetically, all that I would miss is the ability to play this hypothetical product with my hypothetical friends.
Truth be told, there are games that are similar to Tarkov and that are co-op but none of them seem nearly as cool as EFT's weapon system (modding, gunplay, effects of armor and ammo, weapon sound design), at least to me. There is just something special about this specific comination of weapon systems, armors, overall customization, survival mechanics, traders, looting, quests, maps and even characters that just "hits right". This hypothetical product can fix a lot of things that BSG is just too lazy or incompetent to fix, and I hope that hypothetically one day a hypothetical co-op mod will be developed.

Sorry to say but sadly I don't think that BSG would let them do Co-Op mode for SP tarkov, cuz I think almost everyone would leave the original game :D
@@vergil4488 The coding for that would be a massive undertaking, lots of the mods end up dead in the water because the manhours spent on coding it kinda requires some kind of monetary return, but BSG can sue in that case, since you're making money off their game.

Love this video, play a lot of Single Player Tarkov myself, especially when I have nobody to play regular tarkov with, I always try and find SPT tarkov content, though the last time I watched a youtuber who posted a series of him doing a playthrough of single player tarkov, and ended up being hit with a strike from BSG. It sucks, but I love SPT AKI, and sometimes it can be even better than the live version.

Ive seen multiple people interpret the line "russian f*ck" to be hatred towards russians, presumably because of the current political environment. The russian part was just a describer of the person i was insulting, not meant to be part of the insult. I would do the same for Ubisoft, or probably any non-american company that was doing something i thought was bad morally. I apologize if any russian people felt attacked by that, i really didnt mean it that way. I've actually been enjoying the new wipe, and i wish bsg the best, and am glad they seem to have chilled with copyright abuse in the last year or few

Tried out SPT because of this video! Loving it so far, had a scav run where I spawned with only a TT and managed to kill all 3 goons.
its nice way to learn the game when u can take your time and focus on the pve and not get steamrolled by pvp

this mod makes me wanna buy tarkov and play it , i am a casual player and love the stalker genre , the idea of a realistic hardcore single player game with good gameplay with maybe some co op with friends would make millions of dollars !! imagine this wonderfull game with no sweats , no try hards , no cheaters , just you and the hardcore immersive experience , it would make extreme success

This video inspired me to come back to SPT and actually play it as opposed to using it a sandbox. Turns out it reminded me that troubleshooting SPT is literal hell and I will forever envy anyone who shows their SPT with the exact same mods work just fine. Great video tho
When did you try last time? I'm running SPT 3.5.0 with about 10 mods, realism included, and it works just fine. Gotta pay attention to the instructions as there's two places you should place mods (either user/mods or BepInEx/plugins)
The only thing SPT needs is LAN to play with friends.

It's never going to happen. Devs stated that they wont due to difficulty and so BSG wont sue them.
Only way possible is by doing it yourself, but that requires advanced programming and networking skill/knowledge and those who can do it will keep it to themselves and close friend without large distribution... so yeah won't happen.... ok im going back to school in programming/networking... /s
There is a lan coop mod but it hasn't been updated for a while, maybe someone will pick it up again.

There's also a completely hypothetical and totally not real mod that adds dozens of guns, like glocks in more calibers you know what to do with, deagles, rocket launchers, LMGs, anti-material rifles from different makers and configurations, for example
there are literally skill trees not yet released (and some are) that include using RPGs, and LMGs. also they are russians, in russia, and dont have access to every glock known to man. they model everything off real life items, so they would need access to the physical weapon to put it into the game at the level of detail every current weapon in the game has

Been seeing a lot of SPT content popping up on my feed lately and honestly? This makes tarkov look enjoyable for someone who's still new and doesn't have the time to dedicate their free time to learning the ins and outs of a buggy game
After the wigle video i did my own testing by entering a raid with max gear an going where i know no one would see me to hide. Somewhere no sane person would go. No loot arround nothing. Within about 20 raids i had died within the first 5 minutes each time on average. All by people that would run in an start shooting beffor they would round the corner to me. Death by dammage to head/eyes. Then did the same with just a Mosin, a small backpack, and simple armor. Within about 30 raids, only one person ran into me. Sptarkov is the place for me now.

Held back from buying Tarkov due to the huge learning curve and having other things to fill my time, but now that I know about SPT I think I'm gonna buy a copy of the game and just NEVER play online until I've fully learned the mechanics and maps in SPT, then make the switch to MP. Hopefully by then they've sorted the audio/desync/cheating or at least started on fixing it lol

Desync is never getting solved, I was playing tarkov in 2018 and devs had same talking points. Tarkov is a money funnel for their main project called russia 2028

the hypothetical existence of SPT is the most hypothetical fun ive ever hypothetically had with tarkov and its not even close (hypothetically of course)
I would love a game that combines the gameplay of Squad with Tarky quality guns/gear. 45v45 player matches. then have an in game currency/trader system. so you'd have the dynamic squad system with large maps with tarkov guns and aesthetics. essentially a raid that last 1-2hrs with 45 people on your team. 9 squads of 5 players. imagine the chaos

Co-Operative/Solo raid mode with seperate progression and with brutal AI seems like a perfect addition to Tarkov right now if they are having trouble with the cheater problem.
If I was Nikita I would be looking at what people like about these mods and start either working on a seperate mode or add in some of the features the addons have into the base game.
BSG most likely have plans of a solo/co-op mode but until that is officially released I think they should just let be the SP mod and instead take ideas from it as it progresses to make their version better.
It does. Tarkov will have a coop mode. They was against it at first, but after time and pressing - they said about it. But in will be somewhere where "open world will be implemented". So years later. Why they so against sp tarkov - I don't know.
When the sound coming from the A-10 in the mod has more realistic timing than the airdops in vanilla
I switched to SPT last fall and haven't even entertained the idea of going back. It's so god damn good. You can absolutely tweak the game to be exactly what you want.

This is not true. SPT may get sued someday, but it has NOT happened, and battlestate has no way of detecting it on your system. The game files that are modified are copied to a separate location from your main installation.

Just here to say I've played more SPT than tarkov live, played one wipe and got driven away from the money grind, the cheating, the bushwookies... SPT mods can make the bots and progression as easy or as hard as you want. Only thing missing really is being able to play with friends. All my friends that played tarkov, quit; some play SPT, some don't. But all of them said they would play SPT if it had co-op, or would go back to tarkov live if it had an "offline" progression profile to play with friends.
This is literally what got me into SP-TARKOV

this is my first time seeing spt, i really like the idea of having your gun in the centre of your screen when using nvg’s / face shields, and the headsets acting as hearing protection idea. however i think the game does everything else better imo. theres definitely arguments that could be made but im not here to argue. i just wanna enjoy the game
Soo this mod is basically a far better player friendly oriented game with features that were promised years ago, and most of them are basic changes.. Very sad for BSG. Hope the modders get the praise they deserve, well done for making changes that would take years for BSG to make! Keep up the great work!
Some other stuff, earlier versions of SPT Have had more mods, some of the modders just stopped updating until 3.5.X came out because they were finding it hard to keep up with the updates. I dunno exactly about some if they are updating there mods or have fully depreciated them and the sort but one modder.
The person who made the KMC Stuff added abunch of gear some patches and cosmetic items (Think IR Strobes, helmet Cameras, No step on sneak patches etc.) that you could put onto their new armor and helmets some reskinned bags new calibers and new firearms as well.. Sadly KMC's Gear and Weapon Mods have been outdated since 3.4.0 with the Core being as far back as 3.0.0 if I recall correctly.
His mods work for 3.4.1 but the AI don't use the weapons sadly
@@hopedream11 Definetly not KMC Gear, KMC Gear has a fatal bug, a memory leak if I have to guess, with one of the gear component items. Which crashes the KMC-Gear Shop any-time it opens.
Also to get AI To use the weapons you have to modify the loadout coding to whitelist the weapons and the mods and the sort from what I understand (roughly) but I'm not too sure with all that.
I was lucky enough to use that mod, it was glorious
@@leadpipejustice9253 I mean as another person has said, you can still downgrade 3.4.X and have KMC-Weapons work, KMC-Gear's I think has a mem-leak in one of the patches/one of the gear components so KMC-Gear's crashes if you use flea-market or the Gear Shop.
But you can find and use KMC-Gear in-raid usually without problem.
Most of mods should be tried in 3.5.x to check if they still work. Cause most of them do, almost, even if they are not tagged updated to 3.5.x
I've _hypothetically_ always seen that airstrike mod when _hypothetically_ browsing _hypothetical_ mods but never tried it. It actually seems _hypothetically_ really cool, especially if they balanced it so the strikes actually required some sort of resource(s). i.e. finding enough OFZ Shells and maybe Gasoline or something can craft a special item that enables you to call in one strike. Could even have different recipes for different strikes. Then also have access to the respective strikes maybe even locked behind a quest reward, so something like progressing far enough with Peacekeeper gets you access to the Helo, but you'd still have to get the resources to actually utilize it.
Then there'd be more legitimacy to its overall implementation _and_ make its use that much more rewarding.
Never _hypothetically_ played around with SPTRealism either but just the fact that it has canted weapon aiming has me _hypothetically_ about to download it.

As much as I like SPT, it still feels like you're running around just killing scavs. Even if the PMCs act like people, it doesn't feel nearly as rewarding knowing it's basically just a buffed raider AI.
I agree. Nothing comes close to spiking my heart rate like fights with real people in live raids. SPT is great but just doesn't hit the same.

@mangosan5884 and I think that's completely understandable. Use SPT to learn the game (try not to use too many overhaul mods) and come back to live servers if you want if BSG fixes the problem. Whatever is fun to you do that, that's why we play games in the first place!

Awesome video. We all know that BSG is never going to complete the game with all of the features they envisioned - they've said it themselves. Why wouldn't they capitalize on the modders to help them complete the features they can't once they are done developing the game? It brings longevity to Tarkov where it would othersie die.
Also, it's amazing that modders can totally fix the dogshit recoil system while we rejoice when we get 10% reduced cameras recoil on the live servers lmao
Because including features in a singleplayer game is way easier
For example good luck optimising servers for that plate system (even tho the mod is underdeveloped and need more attention)

I like the feature of stamina depleting once you get hit, but it needs adjustments. It should only happen when you get hit in the legs. Getting shot on arms or thorax may not be felt instantly because of adrenaline.
Also you feel your wound when you look for it. If you don't know for certain that you were hit, or saw someone shoot you from close range, you won't feel the wound instantly.
It's sort of like how you fall off your bike as a 10 year old, go home hours later and find your wound when changing your clothes. Only then you start feeling pain.
That also depends on your pain tolerance and the seriousness of the injury or felt pain. I hope you get what I mean.

@@Redrik666 Yes that is what I would also like to see, adrenaline. But I think it would only encourage just sprinting across the map without stopping to look around, so I feel like it's best to just not take lose or gain any stamina.
I want however, leg shots to drain some amount of stamina, and the amount could be related to stress resistance skill. Though I am also ok with no stamina hit at all.
I also want vaseline, golden balm, ibuprophen, augmentin and analgin to not be used for premedding. They should only remove existing pain and existing fracture effects. Morphine however would still remain the same and it would be interesting to use morphine before you engage someone.
Heres my experience: Realism SPT - changes too much, like way too much. Its bot progression is cool, but makes things way too easy because youll find every bot carrying a CAR and oodles of health items. Valen's Progression mod is better balanced.

With all the cheaters running around I found out about this mod and have really wanted to try it. Can I have this mod installed and still play normally if I want? Is it better to buy a separate account and run it on a separate drive?
Yeah you can do that. Just make sure you install SPT in another folder than Tarkov (obviously). You could run it on a separate drive if you want. So yes, you can have both SPT and Tarkov on the same drive, in different folders, and swap back between playing either.
You dont have to buy a separate account, it emulates a player profile and runs completely separate from live EFT. Just have to set it up :) dont give bsg another 40 bucks when you dont gotta
It copies your game files to a separate location and you run your own server. It's not detectable by BSG (as if bsg was known for detecting software lol)

just have main tarkov off the system drive and then the auto installer will make a clean copy on the main drive and youre done very simple just dont have both open at the same time essentially

Really sucks that BSG gets angry at modders and mod support, even though mod support proves that it increases life spans of games (look at Source games like Counter Strike, Insurgency, Left 4 Dead, etc.)
Either way, I'm glad SPTarkov exists, along with two single player type extraction shooters (Zero Sievert, Road To Vostok and Project Quarantine)
Also those are some awesome and impressive mods

I get why this is so judgmental of the game and it’s a lot of cool mods but you completely ignore the fact that there game is the framework that allows these things to exist. Like yeah single player mod is a lot easier to get right then for multiplayer. Both can exist but your huge amount of hate for the people who coded the game your now modding is ignorant af.

Also FYI for BSG to sue 99% of modders they would have to atleast branch to other countries legal Systems and courts.. Which would mean they would have to actually reply to the multiple lawsuits that are against BSG For copyright infringement. The most they might do? Ban your EFT Account if you try to run the mods in the same folder as the official install of EFT, which is a very stupid idea in the first place.

Hell yeah since hackers/cheater became the uphand force in my absoluteley most loved game since years, i can finally relate with most of the lines here, primarily including "this is a game and not my full time job". Nowadays you cannot overlook some of those "minor" flaws anymore.

This is a totally different game built on tarkov. this is for people who arent very good at pvp. its that simple. It can get you banned, do not risk it if you care about your actual account.
Calling someone good at PvP in Tarkov is just about the same as being good at playing slot machines. Everything that depends on you is knowledge of general mechanics, everything else is out of your control. Oh no, ricochet. Oh no, not enough pen. Oh no, netcode. Oh no, desync. Oh no, jam. Oh no, random spread. Oh no, one tap head eyes by makarov. Wow, that needs a lot of skill.
Horrible take in every way, it is not a different game it is literally still Tarkov. People can have fun in singleplayer without being bad at the multiplayer version. Me personally has never played SPT, but I get why you would want to. 3rd person tarkov, the killstreaks and helicopters are really sick, but BSG will never implement this.
