- This is the final part in a new series recapping Year Five of Destiny 2. This video goes into the details of the Season of the Seraph, including the return of Rasputin, the threat of an invasion by Xivu Arath, and the discovery of a secret on Neptune.
I hope you know your channel and all these vids are completely amazing. I took a little break and wanted quick catch-ups on the the lore from the seasons I missed and each video was so perfect and exactly what I needed. It’s so sad that Rasputin had to die. If this is the end of his story, I can’t think of anything better. Though, his Warsat Network would’ve been a big help in decimating the Shadow Legion fleet by “rending it from the sky” as Mithrax put it. But, I don’t see him coming back. However, if he was chosen by the Light, I imagine restoring his memories, and rebuilding the Warsat Network from scratch would be the goal of a theoretical season involving a newly risen Rasputin. I feel, in him being an AI, he’d be able to at least remember his name. He’d probably be an Exo (Dawnblade) Warlock. Because of his association with the color red and solar weaponry.

Yeah, while I love the story of Destiny, a lot of the good stuff is buried in lore books. Until recently, they haven't done a good job of "show not tell"

I could put one out next season. It was something I was planning for a few weeks ago, but life got in the way. And now he's kinda...gone...so not sure if it's worth it
