- Sorry about the sound in the early part of the video. I am still getting the hang of this wireless microphone. I might have to upgrade that long-term.
First long form video in almost a year. I haven't really had the time to make any of these as of this last year but thought instead of creating long transformation videos (which I'll do in shorts now/have been doing in only shorts for the past year) I could share some of the tricks and experiences I make along the way, that might actually help you out more.

Great work...Be sure to post updates. Greetings from Brazil.
Obrigado! Vou postar um Update bem logo!
This is awesome, I think the tree has a great future and a good owner too!!!
Thanks so much, Nigel! ✨
@@Bonsaifly , thank you very much for your time.
thank u so much sir 🎉
After watching Peter chan, he was using a saw to cut through a ficus branch, when he had finished, he tapped the bare branches with the saw blade, after a few weeks he showed the tree again, and where he had bruised the tree with the saw blade, leaves and possibly roots had formed along the branches.
I used to be obsessed with aerial roots, the more I get the more I realize most don’t look all that good. Of course I live in Florida and get plenty.
Yes I agree, you have to be very intentional with aerial roots
i love and at the same time i hate sphagnum. nice video. At the moment i try to recover a ill ficus with this kinda technic.
Thanks for sharing, didnt know you can grow ariel roots like that on a ficus
Interesting, I like it a lot. When I don’t have to pull it off of Ficus trees that is. It is very versatile 🌱

you can use elongated sacrifical braches as well, just root them, and graft them to the braches (not mu idea)
I am actually considering this very approach on this tree, I have a couple of rooted cuttings
Steph Curry's off season hobby.
Haha that would be awesome
@@Bonsaifly You look a lot like him. Awesome job.
Can you do Videos for beginners please that would be really helpful
I am planning on it :)
Nice hat...lol
Haha it’s a funny brand
Creo mejor realizar ese proceso con Akadama! Más fácil separar y mejor calidad de visualización y selección de raíces!
Yes, I might try something like that next time :)
Do you have instagram i do bonsais now for around 5 or 6 years. i think i can learn al lot from you and maybe you from me. I have a glas thing look like an aqarium only upside down and with a door put a humidifier inside and the roots wil begin to grow and with drinking straw you can actually guide the root to the ground where you want it to be.
I do have Instagram! Same name there, hit me up!
