    When will you guys stop this lies, the first person has succeeded to put this fulse narrative out there that fela came to ghana to lean music and every single ghanian who has slight opportunity to speak about african music will also jumped into a bad wagons with no indepth knowledge of what he or she is talking about, Fela study music in London and return back to Nigeria before he travelled to ghana, will it not be appropriate for any reasonable person in ghana to investigate who exactly thought Fela music or Afro beat in ghana and what exactly did Fela came to Ghana to lean about music/Afrobeat, Google Ebo Taylor a man who supposedly trained or teach Fela music or Afro beats in ghana has to say about him or any other person in ghana to have teach Fela music or Afrobeat

      Don't forget what Tony Allen said in the documentary afrobeats the backstory on netflix where he said afrobeat was coined by a ghanaian promoter called Mr Raymond aziz. It was Mr Raymond aziz who suggested to Fela kuti to call the music afrobeat

    Why is it such a big thing for you guys to want to go international and be on the top so badly? Does it really matter? Music is not about competition, it's about it being good with quality. There are a few Ghanaian artist that are very good and known internationally too, so there is no need to put them down. I don't hear any other African countries wanting to be on top so badly, they just make the music and see where it goes. When Afrobeat was big in Africa, no one was making it to be on the top globally, they were just making good music and it got noticed by others naturally.

    Isn't it interesting that every Ghanaian Social media outlet where Afrobeat and other entertainment issues are discussed have now become my "go-to SLEEP 😴 therapy. Is it just me, or does anyone else not find it easy to relax whilst listening to all of these Ghanaian muppets rambling non stop 😂😂😂. I tune in most times for the laughs 😃 😀😂😂😂, and before you know it, I'm slowly drifting away to their deluded lullaby 😂😂😂😂.

      Me too. I didn't even know there is someone somewhere too who finds it a sleep therapy. Ghana delusions on afrobeat origin and their uninformed rantings are music to my ear. The dephts of their stupidity is really amusing and sometimes I find myself laughing alone only to be cautioned by my wife for disturbing her sleep. Wanting to further entertain myself i usually flip over to another ghanaian afrobeat pundit and guess what? Same story, same idiocy, same entitlement, same delusions.       Tony Allen who was more closer to Fela kuti than ebo Taylor said Fela got the name afrobeat from a Ghanaian promoter called Mr Raymond aziz. Also uncle idonije said Fela came to Ghana to start his highlife revival thing. He was in Ghana when he started coming with the music. Fela kuti was not the first person to mix African rhythms with western black American music there were others doing that before him.

      Highlife is Ghana, sierra leone music was called MARINGA music and Liberia was palm wine music, never did they call their music HIGHLIFE, the only country that ever did was GHANA all others called their music Igbo highlife , yoruba highlife and edo highlife all coming from Highlife, from the Gold coast Ghana that's why you will never hear Ghanaians calling their highlife, Ghana highlife or Ga highlife or Akan highlife or Ewe highlife it's Just highlife the original.

      When you are the original, you don't need to associate words with it, it's just simply HIGHLIFE. Like how African Americans created SOUL MUSIC and the euro Americans later created BLUE EYE SOUL MUSIC, you see they had to associate blue eye to the African American soul music, which lets everyone know they got their influence from African Americans. Just as Igbo highlife yoruba highlife and edo highlife was derived from HIGHLIFE from Ghana Gold coast.
