@@AL3X1KUS Both Golf and Tennis are designed like what one might get playing a dedicated tennis or golf game, and are designed quite well at that, in my opinion.
I can sort of see why some people might not want to play Tennis, as it does take quite a while to play a full set-but then so does a real tennis set. There was a tennis match in the Australian Open that went on for over six hours because both players kept getting deuces. Theoretically, I would assume that a Grand Theft Auto V Tennis match could also go on for that long, which would wear anyone out. But I digress.
I, too, enjoy a game of Tennis from time to time, but as you say, few people play it nowadays. The same goes for Golf, which I really enjoy.

In one hand, I'm saddened that the OG Heists have basically faded into obscurity over the years, even despite getting pay raises across the board.
In the other, I can't count how many times playing Heists have resulted in any of the following:
- The Velum was Destroyed
- Prisoner died
- TriggerHappyRando1234 alerted the Guards
- Newbie500 died
- Heist Crew left
OG Heists aren’t really Dead I get a lot of invites from these still. Also criminal mastermind
I’ve just started playing again for the last week and only heist invites I’ve had was og ones
I made a new character last year after not playing since 2015 and I wanted to do ALL the heists starting from Fleeca.
It was like pulling teeth to get people to play those heists and like you said, randoms screwing the whole thing up over and over

If GTA 6 ever does come out, I honestly hope they add more solo optional missions in it's online mode so that even if no one plays it, you can just play it yourself to get some quick cash.

What they need to do is re design their online mode to heavily emphasize co operative play.
Take the missions in RDO, Bounty missions, trader and moonshiner are the best paying roles and they all prioritize working together to accomplish a pve goal with the off chance a dude will try and ground you or steal it.
Also they need to keep shit like oppressors out and if you’re gonna have weaponized vehicles they need to do it like the old days where it spawns at merryweather docks so you have to drive over and get it.
No more killing a griefer jet only to have them get it back and on your ass in 30 seconds later.
True but the sad part here is the solo stuff in a online game that is supposed to be connected to other people hence the name online what’s the point in playing solo in online mine as well play story mode sad that the community gotten so toxic that people rather play solo and I get I am one of those players that plays solo in online

Same... I mostly play in the sandbox until my passives are ready, cash those out, and go right back to being a filthy casual 🤣 sure, I do some "meta" play when I really need some extra cash, but 95% of my time is spent just having fun wih all the random things, and I've been playing since ps3, lol

I spend most of the time customizing vehicles and doing random sh¡t, money comes from all the passives, all the vehicles selling thingies (Simeon, Custom exports and Auto Shop customizations) and a few other low effort things.
If you don't rush for your millions you'll eventually get there, currently I roll with around 10mill with all of the properties already owned and upgraded.
I just enjoy driving around with cars and planes

I am proud to say I played gta online from the beginning. It was truly an amazing experience. Especially growing up with it. 14 years old to now 24. It reminds me of good times and high school. The many events and dlc my friends and I grinded on. The music. The Southern CA atmosphere. Unfortunately I haven’t played gta 5 since the contract dlc and at this point I really have no interest getting on anymore. The game has been milked to death. But tbh I need to get back on just to play my respects to it. I just get so emotional just thinking about it. Just reminds me of the good old days were life was simple where I still had all my friends.
I have that same feelings and emotional attachment to gta 5 for pretty much the same reason. Started playing it on ps3 sophomore year the day it came out, I remember the online releasing and all the dlcs, playing with friends and wondering what they were gonna add next. There's no other game that I feel that level of nostalgia for other than black ops in middle school, or San andreas in elementary school.
Yea, it was cool. But they really fucked things up too and squandered it’s potential. I would trade most of the heists for an expansion into Las Venturas for example.

That's why you should keep playing. One day it will be gone so enjoy while it lasts. Chilling in gta is one of the best things.
Try the ps2 games. The stories will get you good, and you’ll love them more than you though. Try OG SA. I HATE that 5 has no bridges near Grove.
They should give boosted payout and experience gain for the first time you do every kind of job per day. So you're more tempted to run every kind of mission and event because you're gonna get the boosted payout once per mission. It would incentivize playing a wider collection of modes instead of grinding the best paying jobs.

I think parachuting in general is more of a hobby that you do rather than an activity because it's actually relaxing and gets my mind off of the chaos in the game but as for arena wars I think rockstar executed it very poorly I thought it was gonna be like twisted metal where you'll face the a.i and other players in a huge portion of the city but nope instead we're forced to play against other players no a.i or anything and on top of that the payout is horrendous I wish we got survival mode where you face an unlimited amount of a.i cars coming after you and you have to survive as long as you can then have a big boss fight at the end and the payout will be over 100k and it will increase as you move up the rounds then have a boss fight and for the discounts bryony can give you missions related to the arena wars like each mission the game gives you arena war vehicles to use for the mission like hangers for example.

I wish in survival you could change the settings so AIs aren't super accurate on there weaponized vehicles so I can film action scenes better. Better yet an entire contact mission maker would help alot with custom mission content.
If they added a "Solo Tournament" mode where you go after NPCs then Arena War wouldn't be the worst update to the game

I must say, I really love the idea of tournaments for Golf in Grand Theft Auto V. I love playing Golf, but I only have one Friend who shares my love, and it is almost impossible to find random players. I also think that more courses should be added for more variety, or perhaps the ability to create courses in the Rockstar Creator, which will allow for player-designed courses.

@@-LK34- I would not say that Golf is too easy in my opinion, as it plays like... well, golf. I feel that it pretty much plays like a dedicated golf game, and presents sufficient challenge, though perhaps without as many bells and whistles, so to speak, of a dedicated game. The main issue is not the mechanics, but the lack of variety in the holes, as there have not been any new ones since Grand Theft Auto V's release, and the current ones are getting a bit tired. As I said previously, I believe that Rockstar should either add new holes and courses, enable players to create holes and courses via the Rockstar Creator, or both.
It’s actually pretty rare to find a “Penthouse Party”. But when or IF I find a player inviting the lobby, I never pass it up. I’ve made some great friends over the years since the Casino released and it was in a “Penthouse Party” where I met one of my crew mates. 😊🥳
Regarding Arena Wars. If you want to play Twisted Metal, just play Twisted Metal.
Thanks to modders on PC, apartment invites give me nothing but PTSD due to me being caged and crashed so many times because of them.

Also funny story about Caged In: it used to be part of a glitch fairly recently. It was a way for people to customize otherwise uncustomizable vehicles. Of course, it was also patched recently. But I find it funny it found more use as a glitch method than an activity.

What I liked about Arena Wars is that it had vibes like Twisted Metal, but didn't make the vehicular combat as the only part of the game.
I noticed the arena workshop didn't have enough room for ALL of the arena wars variants of the available vehicles, which was a pain really, but I like the Future Shock aesthetic. Reminds me of the Protoss from Starcraft, and it has that clean feel.
Rockstar should really add some sort of grab bag playlist that's essentially most/all of the 8-16 player game modes (Parachuting, Adversary modes, Races, Deathmatch, etc.) That are randomly shuffled between. That could breathe some life into those game modes.

I remember I bought my first high-end apartment specifically because it was down the street from a gas station that I could rob and then server-hop to get the next one. Saved my first 200k for an Elegy that way! (Now it's a free drop to all players, but I earned mine robbin' :P)

You missed one that nobody ever does and I’m surprised you didn’t catch it, but it’s the Online Flight School. It’s been around I think since the launch of GTA & GTA Online and it’s been years since I’ve done it and heard about anyone doing it. It was something people did back then because completing it the first time it would reward you pretty decently. At least back then 2013/2014
It is useful for new players to get money and to boost their flying skill but once you complected it you never have to touch it again.

Hey professional, I will say that for people like me who really like cars, there actually is a very good use for the car dealerships. There are a lot of cars with unique wheels that cannot be purchased through customization, and you cannot change the color of stock wheels without glitches. However, there are times when a car will be in the dealerships with stock wheels that are a different color than what is normally available through the websites. For example, when you buy the Truffade thrax from legendary motorsports, the wheels will be grey and this color cannot be changed, but when the thrax was at the dealership it came with black wheels and if you bought it from the dealership, you’d get a version with black wheels instead of grey.

You're right about golf and tennis taking too long, and let's face it, it isn't the experience most GTA players are looking for. At least golf you can play alone - it'd be nice if they'd give you the option of an AI opponent in tennis.
They already give you that option, it's called GTA V single player

I still do all of them because of pure nostalgia, i am also repeating all the disabled missions like Coveted, potshoot etc... they are still available but you need to go to the exact location where you can start the mission.
I also have some friends who come online just for doing 2013 missions all together.

Also if you complete them all you will get a special parachute (that they messed up on console and it's reppaced with the rainbow parachute) and a Junk parachute bag.

#11: There used to be lobby events like the loot crates where a special car was marked on the map, it would pay around $50,000. I remember in 2013/2014 me an this dude fought for a while over one of these cars and he got it to the docks first. He sent a message after that said something like "lol i got it $$$$".

I think that one of my absolute best and most important advice for GTA Online, is to NOT grind too much for money. If others enjoy this and want to play like this, go ahead. But when I started playing, I kept playing to earn as much money as possible all the time. I stayed away from a lot of fun features because it wouldn’t earn me enough money. It didn’t take very long until I got completely tired of GTA Online. So I stopped caring so much about making max profit all the time. I started playing mainly for fun regardless of the money it would earn me. This really opened up GTA Online for me.
I started playing golf for example, which I also like btw. The fact that golf is not fast-paced or action-filled is a good thing to me, not a bad thing. It’s a nice change of pace after doing all the heists and violent jobs. This is the same reason why I really like those calm missions in the singleplayer story.

My problem with Simeon’s Daily Export Lost is that sometimes I don’t get the message until MUCH later (after delivery). 🥺 The Taxi jobs are simple and keep you close to say the Acid Lab while it’s doing the product.
I am seeing this an entire season late, but thanks for adding in the donation campaign. I actually didn't expect that on a channel about GTA 5. I am not saying GTA 5 players don't care, I am saying I genuinely didn't expect to see the campaign on a gaming channel.
4:40 I used to rob the store when I would purchase snacks making it essentially "free"... Another reason why I stopped is because I can get free snacks from several properties now.
03:38 the original GTA trilogy had a glitch were you could use any car as a taxi during these missions,i personally used supercars and this was fun
I tried arena wars at one point, I believe it was double or triple money at the time. Actually really enjoyed the mode, got really into it with some of my friends. Trying to unlock the discounts etcetera. But then it glitched out during loading, and was stuck in a perpetual black screen. Had to quit out of the app. Then when I loaded in, my arena rank got reset to 1. Even contacted rockstar support but they can't adjust rank and the only thing they said to do was to reset my cache (AKA turn it off and on again). So when it happened again 2 games later I wasn't really motivated to keep trying. A damn shame, really.
Also the armwrestling, hahaha, I tried it *once* and then never touched it again because I didn't want to wreck my poor controller, lol.

I think they should add more golf maps similar to how they add more race maps and adversary modes or let people make their own golf maps like in paleto or sandy or anywhere like player created races, it would really make golf more interesting you can even have people make a mini golf course with props that are already in the game all we need is the freedom to do it i think it will be a very replayable addition because the same old golf map gets boring imo

In the car dealership I can argue that it won’t just die bc there’s people out there like me who value realism very much in all aspects of the game and they hit the spot with that update.
I must admit, as a Car Guy I use the car wash in gta online on a regular bases 😅 Also I play Golf and Tennis with a friend on a regular base every sunday when we play together to finish off the day after grinding money. I guess I'm not the casual gta online player 🤷🏽♂️

15. Taxi Work - It’s been out for less than 3 months lol… shouldn’t be in this list. Since it’s recent release, I still see at least one player-driven taxi in each session.
14. All new players still rob stores. There’s constantly new players, and that’s probably the most common beginner method to making some quick money.
13. Parachuting - everyone does this all the time, probably almost every single session, just not the game mode. Why have to leave free mode, when you can parachute anywhere you want. Plus the somewhat recent addition of parachute jumps which pay decent. So yeah, people do that for sure.
12. Original Heists - these are surprisingly still popular. You said yourself, we all constantly get invited to them. I’ve noticed most players between level 50-350 do these often, especially if they’re unaware of the “meta” grinding methods, or just prefer different things. Fact is, OG heists are still very common.
10. Car dealership - I still see people going there, I do myself because it’s cool (wish there were more!). Especially amongst the car community, it’s a welcome addition. Was never overhyped, just wasn’t as well executed as some of us hoped for. I’m sure it’s testing for proper implementation in GTA6. But yeah, sucks we can’t test drive vehicles from Luxury Autos. But hey, at least you can now buy vehicles with rare liveries, or painted stock wheels - that’s a W.
8. Apartments - the RP community hangs out there a lot. And those who do the OG heists go there often, as do griefers who teleport there for safety (lol). Me personally, never hung around the apartments for long, but that hasn’t changed since day one.. simply lacks interaction - always has. Arcade and Casino are just better.
7. Watching TV - griefers use it to spectate players and relay info to their fellow griefers.
6. CEO/MC Challenges - When you’re bored with friends, you end up doing stuff like that.
4. Golf - This is the most common activity I do with friends when bored. It’s fun, definitely slept on imo. It’s only uncommon if you and your friend group are repetitive, or forget just how much GTA has to offer.
3. Tennis - goes hand in hand with golf.
Car Wash - relatively common amongst the car community..
Another thing that sucks about the car dealership is that it will have a car that you probably already own but will have a unique livery that you can only get if you buy that car again. You can't get the livery for the one you already own. This happened last week to me.
I have the same Projector is really nice and fun also relaxing to play on that thing or even like me sleeping! The one that still im doing it in a few times when im playing GTA Online is from the CEO VIP challenge to assassinate the targets which is giving really good RP actually its still very fun for me. Another problem was it took way too long to level up in arena war so loads of people would just farm AP points through the spin wheel and not play the game modes, even more stupid that you can't access the spectator box or wheel unless there is a match playing so it sucks if you want to get the space docker at AP level 500 or rusty tractor at AP level 1000, I stopped at AP level 80 to get the clown van pegasus vehicle, but as you said professional it was also paid to win for custom vehicles sometimes nearly $8+ million for just one upgraded vehicle (undiscounted), but I did like arena war when it first came out just a shame the way rockstar handled the update with pricing and levelling up at a reasonable rate. :(
I remember when the custom apartment and stilt houses came out. I saw alot of people hanging out in them and its something my friend group did fairly often
I agree that people don’t play tennis cause it takes too long, me and my brother once spent three hours doing one set cause we just kept hitting the ball back and forth with precision and it just went on forever. We never even finished the set cause we got bored. 😅

Well crafted video, also say no less about Rooftop Rumble, when I first got the Xbox One version of GTA V,, the missions I had unlocked on my 360 character carried over so I grinded Rooftop Rumble to get a apartment, a bank, my first business and a nightclub. Good old times, and even on the first generation of GTA V when I didn't have Rooftop Rumble I had a friend who was a high level invite me to grind it with him until I unlocked it.
I actually do make Simeon's export vehicles every once in a while. Playing GTA you eventually learn enough cars by name. I guess I have good short term memory too.
I consider this similar to the auto shop exports.
#6, I have actually never been able to Do the challanges. I hear that early on you were allowed to do them SOLO, but now they REQUIRE a Fixed number of people on your team otherwise you cant QUE a challange.
Absolutely NOT true!! The biker missions require other people but most if not all of the CEO challenges (which are way more fun) you can do solo
I recently did both the Doomsday heist and Casino heist. Like literally last week for the first time. I must say it was way harder finding people to complete the Dooms Day heist then the Casino. Casino Heist is shorter yet it took almost just as long to complete then the Doomsday heist.
i really miss contact missions being popular back on ps3 that was basically all i did for money with my brother and we would play occasionally with randoms as well. playing the los santos connection with a full 8 player lobby was always so epic

The shooting range in the bunker gives you something each star level you complete like carrying more grenades.
As soon as you brought up golf, I thought of the exact same thing. The tournament idea would be a lot of fun
#2, Tried this once, but there was no way to Que a random opponent. You NEEDED someone to Come to you EXACT PLACE and accept. This made it Impossible unless you had someone before going, and they always get destracted.
The problem, I think, with almost all of these is not that the activities themselves are bad/have a low payout, it's that the game has lived for so long now those activities are redundant. All of these are like early game activities
I'm almost constantly getting invites for the fleeca job or prison break sometimes. Now and then the occasional other og heist, but more than Cayo and casino
I just got back in to playing GTA online, it's been a lot of fun, I even created a new character just to see how much money I can make starting fresh in 2023.
I love golf in gta too. the golf tournament sounds fun but i think what would be a lot more fun are adding golf to th creator so you can make your own custom golf maps, kind of like the game "golf it". sounds so much fun

I always remember waiting for the 4th person for heists, and once the 4th person joined it would take them over 2 minutes to connect with the lobby, and it already took so long to the point that before they connect one of the other players leaves and the process starts all over again
I honestly don't think I've played Tennis, Golf and Darts since I got the platinum trophy years ago
