My dad had a 2001 LeSabre with 365k miles before it was hit by a tow truck driver that ran a red light. Despite the little stuff I had to replace on it, like the driver's window regulator 2x over the past 10 years, this was a damn good car.

The ride quality of the Buick Lasabre is unmatched.
Buick has been in the top five in reliability and dependability since its induction 120 years ago

I'm here to report that the old lesabre now almost has 730,000 miles. Most miles are long distance highway use so it shouldn't be a surprise. Rock chips galore but still original paint except new front bumper. I had the powersteering, transmission and brake fluid replaced last week and oil undercoating applied to the underside. Unfortunately the passenger side window stopped working today. I'd like to get to 777,777 miles by next year so I'm allowing friends and family to borrow it for road trips.

@@tednguyen8310 Very reliable! Unfortunately at 272000 miles I blew a radiator hose and could have happened for numerous reasons. My transmission was beginning to show signs of wear also. I decided it was time for something new. I got a 15 Murano and hope it last as long as that Buick did.

Lesabre is the best front wheeled car to buy for the money. It’s spacious, durable, and get good gas mileage. I don’t see why people don’t like this luxury car

I don't usually like GM products, but my mechanic had a 2002 with 74,000 miles on it in clean shape, so I grabbed it. Too bad newer GMs aren't this good. This LeSabre changed my mind. It's now got 122,000 miles on it and it's like it hasn't aged at all. I change the oil regularly and had the transmission fluid changed at 100,000 miles.

The way this chic was talking about the car you would think they would keep it going. What a let down in 2006 models. Funny LeSabre & Park Ave was continued in China & that is what saved Buick from the chopping block in 2011.

This car would sell over 100,000 units today with the proper advertising support. Many people are tired of the boring insect-like SUVs and crossover vehicles. I have a 2005 LeSabre Custom with aftermarket leather (from new) that appears as brand new as the entire car does today.
