Yakku bolaw - Srilankan Culural Dance (TTU world wide show case 2019 winners)

We, Srilankan Student Association (SLSA) Lubbock Texas USA dancing troop, proud to be the winner of the International talent show 2019, which was organized by Texas Tech University, Texas, USA.
There were 9 countries, who proudly presented their unique cultures for an international audience. SLSA dancing troupe, which consists of PhD/master students from Mathematics, Engineering, Chemistry, and Biotechnology majors, performed a cultural creative movement segment " Yakku Bolaw", which grasps the hearts of the audience with our excellent performance and being the champions of the show.
We would like to extend our special gratitude to RanwalaBalakaya / @ranwalabalakaya for providing their original audio sources for "Api Yakku Bolaw" song and for being the pioneer for taking Srilankan cultural inheritance to the local and international community.

so proud!!! in the previous generations those who went for Post Graduate Degrees in the sciences would never have been able to dance like this! If anything they could do a western song...! This is the fantastic result of FREE education and education IN OUR OWN LANGUAGE!! True to Sri Lanka, and shine in the world!! Jayawewa!!
