Husky Marching Band: A Perfect Show - Undaunted

Before every rehearsal, Husky marching band trumpet section leader Emma Brown and her fellow trumpeters clink their mouthpieces together and cheers to “a perfect show.” It’s just one of the traditions Emma shares with her “family” - aka the 240 individuals who come together with a shared mission to make the whole band’s show look and sound as good as it possibly can.

What does it feel like to be in the UW Husky Marching Band? “In the middle of a field show - when you know that you’re having a perfect show - you get this rush of adrenaline and you know this is going to be amazing. I’m getting goosebumps right now!” says trumpet section leader Emma Brown.
