My guess is 1970's-1990's, maybe a bit later on, I can see a a lot old Cortinas, few Capris, and Sierras, and a London Taxi. But I wouldn't worry, a lot of these cars are either scrap or MOT failures.

Don't really understand the object of this, is it to see who comes in first, or who can destroy their car first. They seem to want to destroy their cars as quickly as possible.

It's a mix of people who like to race and people who like it for the crashing. It is a cross between enduro racing and demolition derby. And seeing how some of these cars look great but collapse and crumble from what is clearly a lot of internal rust issues, they probably were rotted out beyond ethical repair.

TheRMSAndre1 ALL cars are going to end up on the scrapheap one day. These cars are going out in a blaze of glory! These guys love their cars. I know of one guy who spends some of his weekends banger racing and other weekends cleaning his Porsche 911 GT3!
