Ive sent you a donation. My daughter is autistic and its very hard some days and is very challenging. I had counselling prior to my mam dying coming up to 3 years on the 15th jan. I really struggled with what was happening as my mam didnt talk about her illness at all . She had throat cancer and in the end it was left to me sorting everything out. I went through dove house, which was a god send. But my friend also has a autistic son who is very challenging more then my daughter. But her husband took his own life and jumped off a bridge not far from where we live. Its 2 years ago and hes never been found. He'd had some mental health issues previous but maybe if they had been someone who he could have spoken to who knows he may still be here. Lifes hard at times so every little penny helps. Keep on going Jp. Xx

That was a lovely video JP so very well done and enlightening. So much respect for these volunteer organisations and you with your massive heart ❤. Myself , having had a very difficult childhood with a mum who suffered with depression and anxiety bringing us kids up as a single parent, back in the 1970s we used the services of The Samaritans and the Children’s Society. These organisations gave a lot of support, to us which has always been with me in my mind. Over the years I’ve tried my best to raise funds for various charities. Certainly I’ll be looking out for Mind. Last year my focus was Shelter and this year it’s Cancer Research. Next year I’m going to focus on Paul Sartori who supported a close friend who sadly passed away last week, but I will be contributing to Mind. You should be so proud of yourself JP. Your channel must be a great help for a lot of people. Being in the great outdoors certainly saved me as a 9 year old kid as we were lucky to live near the countryside just outside of London, where we would spend a lot of our time fishing and looking out for wildlife. The alternative where I lived probably would have been crime! I was fortunate to take the right turning. Great work JP ❤🙏☺️

JP I have been watching your videos for sometime now and this one brought me to tears. The work and support you are doing for people with mental health is beyond amazing. I turn 41 on 12/27 and have surfed with anxiety for more than half my life. Thank you for the mental support I am grateful for people like you that recognizes the struggles.

This made me ring local MIND as gp gave me number a couple of months ago. Moved to pembrokeshire from Leicester a year ago....thinking everything will io away living by the sea. I have ptsd and diagnosed with cancer on top of that for the 2nd time. I do feel like going into the sea and not coming out....i wont do it though as a wimp. I have rang mind and waiting call back

You talk a lot of sense mate, what with you nature stuff and mental health. I work as a carer, so I experience a bit of mental health stuff.
I get out into nature, as often as I can and talk to the trees and birds. I feed the Ring-necked Parakeets, and they talk back. In the central London parks , Battersea, Hyde, Kensington Gardens and St James you can had feed them. Notices have appeared in the parks, telling people , not to feed the birds! It brings people so much joy to interact with wild birds, especially in winter. Not just the Parakeets come to be fed, but also the tits and jays come to your hand.
Hi Gary! Those areas are fantastic for bird watching and they bring so much joy when you do so too. Don’t feed the birds?! 😳 🤦🏼♂️ that’s unreal isn’t it! I hope the signs are duly ignored 👍 so many have lost the connection with nature and it’s things like that that make you realise why especially in an inner city environment! Hopefully next year I shall get up there and see them myself as my friends go up regularly to photograph them. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy! Well said JP, I think you are right in what your saying, times as they are today do not help, life for people gets more and more stressful, your very kind to be thinking of these peoples. I wonder if your lovely walks out would help some of these poor folk to escape and become free outside in fresh air. It wouldn’t be for all people etc. but some may find benefit when through there worse stages. X thank you for sharing with us.

Mental health is horrible illness.my girlfriend suffers from depression and anxiety and mental health problems are absolutely unreal. I’m debs full time carer. What i do to help her i try to get her out in nature and the wildlife. Keep up the amazing work that you do

Hi JP i had a awful upbringing and suffered terribly with depression i went into nursing and it put me in a different mindset apparently a lot of people go into a caring profession whos suffers with mental health what a wonderful insight into how Mind opperates you are a very kind considerate human being JP x😊

Really interesting video . I wish I’d known about mind while we were trying for years to get a diagnosis for my husband, who sadly passed away two years ago . Not wanting it to be, but we thought it was, vascular dementia, he got diagnosed five years before he passed. I was struggling at the time, but I’m coping well now, yours, Sammies and Dan and Mazzy’s videos help a great deal . Sorry for the long post . Take care . 💕x

As someone who suffers badly with mental health I do not usually have a good word to say about the services available to people who suffer.
But MIND are the exception to the rule, nothing but good things to say about them. Amazing people.
It is a really generous and kind gesture you have made by donating your earnings, I have no doubt it will be used in the best possible way. As someone who also has a channel, although I have let it lapse of late, I also did a fund raiser for MIND. Probably the only mental health service I would donate to.
I’m with you there x I’ve been through the system many times, NHS priory etc but Mind is so much more it seems from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and relaxed. @@JPLamoureuxsTravels Pretty much the same here, had every form of counselling available but nothing has really helped. I have those dark thoughts pretty much on a weekly basis but have learnt how to deal with them myself. The GP doesnt agree with how I cope but we have an agreement that anytime there is a change I call them. That works for me. I think for me one of the biggest problems, and you hit on it in the video is that I detest talking to someone who has been taught everything from a book or a course, what may seem a small deal for them is a massive issue for me, so yes I would agree that id rather talk to someone who has been there and understands.

@@LightyCollects I hear you bud, I’ve said the same thing to a psychiatrist when I was in a dark place. I try not to let my mind wander I keep busy keep doing what I love to do and helping who I can. Fantastic to hear someone as honest about this as you are. I have days where my antidepressants don’t work fully and it really is necessary to have someone you can talk to. I’ve just been to my mums funeral today - 19 months after my dads, it’s just made this time of year so much harder especially as she would have been 93 at the end of the month.
Keep up the fantastic work and make sure you look after yourself as well as others 💜 xx

❤ well done . As someone who has struggled with MH and still does , i tried taking my own life a few times and thankfully still about . I lost my mum a year back after suffering so long with ill health😢. I am tfying to deal with that all and started watchingvyou from Travel Trolls 🧌 but can i just say i like the cut of tge way you and your good lady come across.
