- I found a stuck Ryobi SS30 string trimmer on the side of the road. The piston was seized in the bore so I decided to see if I can get it unseized with an air compressor..

Wow... first time i see it. Good idea and Good job friend. 👍😊👍💪
I got a free stihl trimmer that I was told didn't run or anything. Got it home primed and it fires first time everytime. The gas I dumped out was straight gas not mixed so it smoked a bit. I have the notion to do something crazy with it and make a little 2stroke powered "generator/battery charger" take a old car alternator and a battery and make it a battery charger or something lol
Well Doug, watching all your videos of you fixing old junk lately, I fanally gave in and I'Mm gonna go get a broken White 30" snowblower I saw on marketplace. I'm going to get it tomorrow morning; almost rust-free, good price but the blades aren't spinning. Wish me luck!
That is awesome bud! Best of luck. Let me know how she sounds running
@@jamesl9686 The auger ring gear and worm gear were completely fubar; luckily the parts are still available and the prices ain't eye-watering too much. It's just somewhat an involved task finding part numbers since White products have been rebranded to MTD, and a lot of part numbers changed. As for the repair, I'm not stressin' ; I'm a mechanic in a tool rental store, so I fix anything from edge trimmers and chainsaws to excavators and Skyjacks! 😆😁😉
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing.
She did not want to give up. Just stubborn.
Would be easier to take the clutch drum off so you can work the crank back and forth.
Cool!
Awesome!!! Bad/broken rings the culprit?
SHES MINT!!! LOL
Nice
👍
Usually nine times out of ten out here in the communist republic of California once it's set out on the street for the trash it's completely gone and there's no bringing it back people out here tend to run their machines into the ground
Seriously??? That is a bummer, but I guess it means y’all are getting every dollar out of them…. Unless it is premature death due to misuse.
I wouldn't doubt there's plenty of cases of miss you but when you live in a state that is more expensive than any other state you have to get every dollar out of everything you own
